Obviously you have a computer, or at least a phone. Unless you're at a library or something, in which case sell your bum.
Made the BeamNG logo in Blender out of boredom. Not the best thing ever, but it's usable for things, I guess. 2 versions of it for some reason.
I tried doing that once, then I saw the fractal function and got mighty sidetracked, so this is the BeamNG logo as a julia fractal. Not a lot of work to make this, but very pretty anyway.
My dad just "tricked out" his 2005 Ford F-150 with the Redneck Starter Kit and needless to say, it does look pretty good. Spoiler His truck doesn't have 4WD, just regular plain old RWD.
Honestly, I think most of us saw this coming. The Rigs of Rods community had steadily declined after the release of BeamNG. Many content creators moved to BeamNG, leaving behind immature forum members and abusive staff. This was the most reasonable solution to end the forum drama, but It's a shame it had to end that way.
In all seriousness, it was really fun. So many great memories off-roading online on Small Island with the S-10. Or online having police chases in Penguinville, or hauling in Box5's Wild West.
I mentioned this over there, but i pretty immediately got backlash so i covered my ass because i am really too tired to argue with anybody right now... but, does it piss any of you off in the slightest that the RoR forums were shut down after 10 years of community and memories without so much as a word from the admins? i mean, come on, way to trivialize 40,000 people...
Did you expect them to? Who was working on it? Surely, this was all in King Jeepster's grand plan, to drive that forum into the ground. I hope he rots in hell for an eternity. It wasn't a thriving community, but it was still a community, damnit!
I totally understand why it was shut down and have no issue with that whatsoever. it would just be nice if a passing note was left along with it, even something simple. it seems weird to me that they would shut down a whole forum without so much as a goodbye. almost seems a little bit pretentious. maybe i'm being overdramatic, but it seems as if they're trivializing their work, other people's work, 10 years of development, etc... also, i doubt this was jeepster's doing, but that doesn't really matter.
Well shit, I knew it was going down the drain, I just wanted to log in and post once, I forgot my password. It's been that long, since 2011.
