I went to best buy to try a windows 10 demo. I don't like it as much as 8, and I don't like 8 as much as 7. I'm not super excited about upgrading.
You don't really need to upgrade for now, but you should do it while it's free. You'll need Win10 for DX12, and 7/8/8.1 support will end eventually.
A year from release, so... Until late July this year. The specs are good, I'd change the 270X for a 370 though. But unless you need a second PC for some reason you should just get a new graphics card for yours.
A few years back my PC exploded, so I bought a factory made HP that does alright, but it has integrated graphics and no PCI E slot. Getting a new motherboard, PSU, blah blah blah would be way more expensive and less effective. Whats the difference?
I'm loving how much fun a mate is having with his trip to Scotland. Day 3 of the trip, he's still in odiham (south of England, for the geographically challenged, Scotland is north)
That moment when you have a nightmare about (what is basically) Fallout IRL where everything and everyone except for you gets destroyed by a nuke. Wandering around in the wasteland was kinda creepy.
In a fallout, I probably would just arse about. If the fallout does come, and you are in the south of UK, look for the giant shopping trolley pyramid.
pizza ---- more pizza ---- more more pizza ---- testing automerge with pizza ---- it works ---- uno due ---- alalalalalaa ---- mmm ---- noice --- Post updated --- wewe
I think I found out what tdev is working on. Double post prevention. If that is indeed the case I will probably cry happiness tears.
Oh, thought you still had the PC in your sig. R7 370 is the new card, it's slightly better so there's no reason not to go for it.
The double post prevention system seems to work...kinda. It merges the posts together into one post, but doesn't delete the first post, meaning that there still is a double post. Other than this it seems to be working fine though.
Yeah the 270x is indeed faster in games by about 5 fps, this is because of the weird naming scheme which imagine is justified by the 370 being an "R7" and the 270x being an "R9" so i see why its confusing I would personally go for a 380 or 380x though as they are more modern cards compared to the 200 series but that is of course a question of price.
the 380 is actually cheaper than the 270x which is interesting. I've got some time to think about it. I mean, if the 270x would get me five more FPS I'd rather have that, right?
