GitHub is actually the worst. I cannot figure out why it is more difficult to make GitHub work than it is to make the program that I want to upload to it. Why is it that simply uploading something is so damn difficult to do? Even the desktop client is unable to make it painless.

The documentation is also pretty naff at explaining any of this because most of the documentation uses the readme as an example which completely skips the whole actually putting anything on github part.

So many other websites have managed with an upload button or drag and drop support.

Only way there is (AFAIK) would be notifying a moderator to do it.

After much faffing around I have my First semester programming and data structure project uploaded (albeit without source until I figure out what I want to do).

Its mostly for doing encryption and decryption (using Caesar shift) but it can also output its results to web pages, brute force and frequency analyse English documents. It is based entirely within the Console and only runs on Windows (sorry).

You can grab the application from: https://github.com/aljowen/CaesarShift ,then just download the zip file and extract it to wherever and have some fun playing with Caesar encryption/decryption.

 

Caesar shift is a classic cypher. It's old, but it still will work for hiding things.

 

The same place where the vBullitin forum went. We dont know where that place is, but probably somewhere it's never coming back from.

 

I saw one after vBulletin was killed.

 

We had one for a brief period after the new forum whatever, but then it disappeared.
Why? It's frustrating. I hate it when I post then immediately regret it, but instead of just deleting it I have to think of an on topic, meaningful point to edit in place of whatever it was I originally posted.

 

So you do it too. Good to know that I'm not the only non-cancerous idiot here.

 

Instead of accidentally posting something, I usually accidentally like something when I'm on mobile. I dunno how I do it, but it just somehow happens. Every now and then I do post something and wanna delete it 10 seconds after posting, since I've just realised that pretty much everything I said is completely wrong.

Experimenting around with OBS a little. Rendering a 60FPS 10k kb/s test video, just to see how it looks. Took me half an hour just to get the GPU decoding setup properly
