I think you've seen blade runner one too many times. If not, you on some good shit I need to get a hold of. And you can't argue for free will in Ernest if you believe in an ultimate consciousness that has a grand "plan" for us all. Rationality or faith. Observations or faith. Admitting you can't answer certain questions about your existence and coming to terms with that, or faith. You don't get to be a "scientific Christian" in my eyes, but whatever helps keep you feeling secure in your being. Incase anyone has the idea that I lack a certain sense of decorum for sharing my views, I am acutely aware that it's rude and do so anyway as an act of defiance, and a general "screw you" to the idea of political correctness.
Well I think the modder has the right to keep them to themselves maybe they think it isn't worth releasing, maybe it is too buggy or simply they worry that it would be uploaded to a third party mod site. I will give you a virtual gingernut if you make the pessima look similar to this.
Having ADHD has nothing to do with it. I have Aspergers. Big whoop. Obviously since you are writing about it, you know you did something wrong. Don't use it as a crutch.
It's got nothing to do with christianity, it's a personal opinion. I'm not saying they should stop thinking like that, freedom of speech and what not, just don't say it's about your religion when it's completely unrelated.
- --- Post updated --- Are you serious? You can't forget about text because it is right there in front of you. And you're still continuing to write about it. Ah, I see. I thought you were voicing fact. If it's your opinion, then it's your opinion. Who am I to stand in the way of it?
Nope. That is not how ADHD works. That is what being a spoiled brat is all about. Go away and stop trying to steal other people's toys.
Never stated my opinion on AI or religion. My point is, whatever your opinion on AI is it's got nothing to do with your religion. You don't think AI is wrong because you're a Christian.
That's not what I was strictly talking about. That's what I was talking about. And I can think AI is wrong if I want to. Being Christian has nothing to do with it whatsoever.
Glad we have that little misunderstanding cleared up. As for you, while I do think you have GSIM down pat, this article is describing the effects of the environment coupled with the turnings of a mind with ADHD. Being spoiled is not a direct connection to ADHD, it is a result of the environment according to this article. Oh, and you seemed to recall this article just fine.
i am slightly depressed. some of you probs dont care but ill say why. i have adhd, central auditory processing, a tad bit of aspergers, intrusive thoughts, sleep issues and major motivation problems.. All this has ruined my mental outlook on life. i can barely control myself when im angry, sometimes i cant at all. I cant sleep unless im dead tired, due to intrusive thoughts. Then when i do sleep, i sleep terribly and dont wake up rested. My adhd has caused major impulsiveness that i cant control, mainly when angry. This has led me to destroy i dont even know how many things, get into fist fights with my dad(we usually get along great) and other assorted crap. Hell, i have gotten so bad parents called cops on me. I also have an irrational fear of telling people this thing, mainly face to face. Why? because i was sent to mental health 3 or 4 years ago for telling my feelings, and i know i wont get sent back, but some irrational part says i will. My motivation to do things is non exsistant, if it doesnt interest me i dont do it. No amount of penalty can make me do it either. I hate it. I have just accepted the fact that im messed up and do everything i can to avoid it.
AI is interesting. Personally i think we are a long way away from human like AI, but that is something that i think is going to need some serious safeguards putting in place. I think Stephen Hawking put it quite elegantly: But I don't think we are going to see super intelligent human like AI any time soon. The types of AI that we have currently while impressive are super primitive. As for jobs, personally i think they will just displace jobs initially in the same way that machines in farming did and allow people to focus on other more difficult and important matters. Equally though I can imagine a point where they start to get competent and whatever simple jobs are left will be gone causing mass unemployment. Likely leading to a larger gap between the rich and poor with the rich having anything they could ever want and the poor having nothing. But hopefully as a species we can figure that one out through correct taxation of large companies leading to adequate funds for a good welfare system. But i also think there will be a human movement. In the same way that fair trade is a thing or companies with human support staff as opposed to (the pathetic excuse that is) automated 'press 1 to ...' systems that are in place. There will be people who want to use human based services. But they will likely be the more premium services to start with. But if AI becomes human like or better then this might start to die down. So there are very genuine reasons to be scared of AI. But if implemented well it could lead to the betterment of everyone reducing the need for work. Allowing people to focus on other things like art and socializing. But hey, if the NSA has anything to do with it (which they will) then it could be used to silence dissent in a similar way that current surveillance systems are doing but to a lesser effect. --- Post updated --- Try to find help that works for you. There are many charities out there that you can talk to anonymously, there is a reason why they are there and that isn't for "other people" to use them.
