Hating on others because of their beliefs and opinions is very crude. Shotgun chuck is entitled to his opinions, and those opinions obviously do not align with your views. There is no need to go and call him selfish because of his opinion. He is entitled to his opinion, as I to mine and you to yours, and while we all may not agree on something we should all be able to express our opinions without being called names.
I usually feel its best not to let too many opinions loose on the internet, even if you can back them up with facts. There are far, far too many un-informed keyboard warrior sheep for that. If said half of the things I think, I feel a few of you would probably not care for me. Thats right people, I don't much care for cheese.

To be totally fair, my opinion is that it's incredibly selfish. It's not to say I wouldn't be friends with him, or that I think less of him overall, but I strongly disagree with that idea. I'm also ok with people disagreeing with me, but I think most of us can get along even if we do disagree.

From a Christians point of view, yes. Perhaps you should stop getting hit by cars in order to rebel against gods plan, or was that his plan all along... Also, is free will really free will if your fate is already 100% set in stone?

They will make the observation the even LONG after it was needed to explain the world (everything in the bible is literally a fairy tale) while we have the answers to the questions god was created by man to feel OK about themselves. So weak is a man who denies himself all rationality. Your beliefs will be long dead in 100 years, while the reason and science that proves god isn't real will continue to shape the world you see. It's clear true religion isn't compatible with our society and as we kill all the crazies and educate the weak minded the idea that the earth is 6k years old, or that there is anything waiting for you after you die except the black void of oblivion.
