Those look like shoe inserts. Can imagine they taste like them too. From what I remember of the Quorn mince i had years ago it was pretty much tasteless lumps with a hint of salt.
the chicken stuff is pretty damn decent, that is according to flatmates too who eat meat as well, the southern fried stuff especially. But apparently the bacon was a 3/10 for them, personally I would agree.
A bit of news with my discord bot. I'm working on exporting it onto a Raspberry Pi 2. I will probably have to multiprocess it though, so that'll take a while. But right now it's going to be for testing to see if the RPi can handle it all on one thread. If it does, I'm not going to bother multiprocessing it. Python FTW.
I managed to score this ear hat when I helped pick up some stuff from my grandparents old house. I might wear it to school one day. My grandparents got it when they went to Russia back in the 1980s.
Well there are pretty good veggie meat thingies out there, it's just hard as crap to find the good ones.
Quorn is usually really good. But the Bacon Quorn is not so great, it tastes like walkers smokey bacon crisps which is fine in smaller quantities but isn't so great in larger quantities. The southern fried chicken bites are absolutely fantastic and so is the mince, especially in the microwave cottage pies, but cottage pies are very expensive so not a regular meal. Burger King Veggie bean Burgers are also really fantastic as well, but that isn't a meat substitute, its just beans. Usually I find the meat free section of pretty much all UK supermarkets to be a good place to look
So...I just bought an iPad, not something I thought I would say anytime soon. £75 in used condition, not sure what the catch is but the listing was pretty terrible, not much info other than it is "fully working and is either 2nd or 3rd gen". Either way its a pretty good bargain for the price and I can probably double that reselling it (no kidding I've seen one literally snapped in half selling for £100..) My first Apple i device too, I will have to use it for a while just to see what I think since I've never used one more than a few minutes.
Dig around in the settings. If it has Siri as an option, it's a 3rd generation. If not, it's an iPad 2. I have a Mini 2 (released with the iPad Air 1) and I like it. It's a 16GB WiFi only model.
Some companies make veggie meat from milk, which is good when you find those ones with giant quantities of salt, pepper and other stuff. Pretty expensive though. There are very nice burger restaurants in the world, btw. I have one in my city for example, and it's absoluety great. You have to watch out for those, their burgers are ginormous and their veggie stuff not acknowledgebal (what's that word?) from real meat.
