I sent this one off a ramp and it landed face first in a cushion of ones that I'd previously damaged beyond repair. I'd say she's gonna shape up to be a fine volvo, might survive for a little while. I love the way they wreck.

Its 10:30AM & police have already stopped one terrorist attack. Why cant we just have a nice quiet ANZAC day..
Does the bathroom bill mean that you have to pay to take a crap? oh wait that means that transgenders can't use public toilets.
The bill never said that. What it actually says is that transgenders must use the bathrooms that correspond to their biological sex, not the sex they identify as.
I can still see where the controversy comes from. My question is: who's enforcing this? Does each bathroom have a bouncer out front with a supply of latex gloves? "Hold still... *shuffle* *grunt* ...a'ight, you're good. Next! Okay... *shuffle* *muttering* ...hmm... *shuffle* ...eh, you're close enough to the middle, go ahead in. Next!"
The way I see it, what if a dude pretends to be trans so he can go into the womens toilets & sexually assault someone. Although if its a women pretending to be a dude, probably just someone wanting a peak
That is actually one of the most common and, I think, best objections. Allowing transgenders to use the restrooms of their adopted sex has to be one of the most abusable ideas ever, and people realize that.
Just take a UK style approach and put a security camera in each stall, then give it facial and genital recognition so that it can figure out who has used the toilet and send an automatic fine according to the facial and genital imaging database. and before someone asks, no this doesn't actually happen in the uk. --- Post updated --- But doesn't that go against American philosophy? For example I think it is fair to say that someone could abuse the right to own fire arms. But many would argue that is no reason to punish those that do not misuse them as a consequence of that. This seems like a fairly similar thing.
Ok, so as a male, I am now going to force you into the womens toilet. Its completely backwards. While one could understand the logic of a sexual predator crossdressing as a member of the opposite sex and assaulting people in bathrooms, that just doesn't happen. Plus in the case of child molestation (one of the larger concerns) it overlooks that again, this rarely happens in bathrooms and when it does its usually homo. The bill doesnt exist to protect people from assault. It exists solely to discriminate against members of society who are already vulnerable. Now this isnt something I wrote, but it summarises it nicely: And as it stands, best friend is biologically female, he identifies as male, he is currently awaiting consultation with a gender clinic however the waiting list is huge. Afraid of getting beat up when all they want to do is pee? He's regularly been scared to go into either gender toilet here in this country. Nobody wants people physically questioning your gender when you go piss, but when you dont know if a family members slip up on pronouns has outed you as female its apparently nerve wracking to go the the mens and yet you do look entirely like a guy so are people then going to question you going to the womens? Hell to me. The bill itself is entirely unconstitutional. The nation of freedom, discriminates against those whos gender does not match their biological sex. Going to mississippi, it discriminates against their sexuality. If trump manages to get his muslim ID system implemented, discriminates against religion. Welcome to nazi germany circa 2016 people. --- Post updated --- Ah but what if I had surgery to alter my genitals The exact wording of the bill does come with an issue in the UK. Trans people seen via a gender identity clinic on NHS can have their birth certificates reissued. I mean I have 2 birth certificates of which only the more recent has legal validity, though both of mine are male as I am a cis-male.
I see where you're coming from, but honestly if someone is focused on assault they don't need to be the other gender to walk into the restroom. Also, the American bill is to "protect the children" but I think that's weird. If someone looks like the opposite gender and walks into their biological gender's bathroom isn't that the opposite of this bill? What I do think there could be clarification of transgender bathrooms, but the government isn't up to the task
There are places with universally gendered bathrooms. The uni has a few, though really what this means is they took the disabled toilet and opened it up to all. Even so, when friend stayed the other day and we hit the pub with a few friends. He just went into the cubicle in the mens room. Looks like a guy, albeit a young one, nobody questioned it. Anatomical reasons he cant use the urinals anyway, besides I know of guys that prefer not to use them as is. Its not like he's imposing on how we can use the bathroom. Transwomen in the girls bathroom, again, thats all cubicles, not imposing on us. Segregating off for a trans specific bathroom, again its segregating. Most trans people would much rather nobody knows that they are trans. As it is friend is going to quite some lengths to ensure when he starts a college course next year, fellow students dont know that he is trans, no avoiding that some of the staff will have to know, but to the other students he wants to identify as a man, not a transman. To then get a transgender bathroom, well now you're mixing your transmen and transwomen and your preoppers/nooppers and postoppers, not only that, you're outing people as being trans in the first place.
