But there is no real reason for a consumer or enthusiast grade platform to have 64GB of RAM. It's just a waste of money.
Rendering though :< I'm an enthusiast and I'm considering building a 16c/32t machine with 32GB RAM. Too bad new hardware is so expensive.
Just watched new Top Gear. Matt did a respectable job, really not sure about evens though, the editing also seemed pretty bad as well with different phrases being cut together far too quickly, especially when they had to edit different words together. Should be interesting to see what amazon brings to the table. Extra gear seems pretty awesome though.
So, for the past 4 hours or so, I've been trying to get BNG to run in Linux using a dev build of Wine with DX11 support. So far, I've got the 32bit version running till the splashscreen, gonna let it sit for half an hour, and if nothing changes, I will conotinue experimenting. From what I've heard, there is an error in Wine's files causing it to have a fatal D3D11 loop in certain situations, hope this isn't one of these.
I had *major* issues with whatever shitcunt did the audio editing. Seriously, get someone competant in to remaster that shit and then tell matt to quit mumbling. I may be slightly hard of hearing, but I'm not that hard of hearing. I was watching a 3rd party stream that buffered far more rapidly than iplayer, but tempted switching to iplayer just to get subtitles. I could not make out a word that was being said most of the time.
No, it isn't. On large projects, render speed is genuinely improved when there is more RAM. It keeps more of the project in RAM instead of on the storage drive.
Ok, so after countless hours of trying to get an idea of why the game isn't working, I came to the conclusion that it's Wine's DX11 implementation just not being finished yet. The game crashes as soon as the D3D device is initiated, and thus it'd make sense.
Isn't it wonderful when you meet up with your mates, and then a torrential downpour happens? We tried to be British about it, but then ran to Greggs (pastry chain for those of you who don't know) when lightning struck the nearby church.
I was told to clean the machines in our school's wood shop with an air hose. The machines are part of Vape Naysh. I swear they haven't been cleaned since 2002.
Whenever I get down to customizing my trucks in ETS2 I seem to have in mind an old racing livery I can't place the memory of, the volvo is probably the closest representation of it. But I'm always torn between white and yellow and the difference is either one that's downright garish or one that's rather pleasant. I don't know what I prefer, garish or 'rather nice'. Opinions? what of the two do you guys like?
