theres a simple way to get along with the police when pulled over (which I have been 3 times, twice complete bullshit the 3rd i got away with). Understand that the law does allow law enforcement (both in the united kingdom and united states) to pull over any vehicle for a spot check of it at any time, let them search it if thats what they are after and move along.

In my case, pulled over because I was on my phone. Told the officer i didnt have a phone on me (I didnt) and that he was free to check both me and the vehicle, he simply made me turn my pockets out, had a quick peek in the obvious places like drivers side pocket, centre console and glovebox and let me go.

Got pulled over for matching description of a stolen vehicle and its thief. Return to vehicle, receipt from dealership I bought car at, photocopy of registration, photocopy of insurance are all in glovebox along with my license being in my wallet. Let him check them and told him he can even go and review my home CCTV that would have showed the car being parked on my driveway and me getting in and out of it every day for the last few months.

Treat them with some fucking respect and they tend to cut you alot more slack. Think about it from a human perspective, *you* pull someone over, they start messing with you, are you going to cut them slack? You pull someone over and they actually comply with exactly what you want and are reasonable people, you dont want to do the paperwork for why you've issued a citation, if they've been reasonable you're far more likely to let them go right?

Cops are human beings. Theres bad apples, but most are reasonable. @amarks240 can only be doing something drastically wrong to have such an issue

It actually has a full spoon sports 11.4 to 1 comp b16b swap with type r suspension, brakes and wheels. Most of the times I did pull over I'd ask why and instead of telling me like he was supposed to in accordance with law, they say "where do I start"? I can't expect you to understand the nypd if you don't live here but I am surprised no one here can imagine being taken advantage of by the police. Also they DO NOT have the right to search your car for no reason at all. If I did drive a stanced single cam eg I should still be able to go low and slow in peace. Now when I see a cop grilling me on the other side of the street and I'm obeying the law and I see him swing around with his lights on at 2 am for no reason other than "I'm bored", I show them just how fast I can go without ever leaving 3rd.

at which point you are commiting an offense, well done, you're gonna get aggro.

And having just checked USA rights, yes he can search your car.

Bigger issue, if you have nothing to hide then why the fuck not

4th amendment. You can't search my car or house without a warrant obtained from a judge. No probable cause no search. No you can't see my papers facist. Law enforcement is a business and it's a crooked one.

What has this thread become? This is supposed to be BeamNG, not Cop Disrespect Simulator 2016.

This forum thread is in the off topic section. Therefore it is required to be unrelated to BeamNG to fit into that classification. Moreover this is the general discussion section, so it is the correct place on these forums for this discussion (or any non BeamNG discussion within forum rules) to take place.

If you use that kind of attitude and language when speaking to police, then you will have some problems.

So, the solution is, don't show the cops how fast your car is, that just gives them a reason to pull you over. A cop may try to pull you over regardless, but without a justifiable reason, police are not supposed to ticket or arrest you.

Chances are he was an arsehole (refusing to cooperate and seeming suspicious) towards some cop and they added his licence plate to a database of suspicious cars.

Mine was 6 chocolate croissants at 1pm. However there were people in the kitchen before that messing with the water and boiler, no one told me they would be turning up (However I do know they are contractors of the site since I see them often, So I know they weren't two random people) but the water was out for about an hour. So I didn't want to be making food with them around and no water.

No wonder you have so many issues with the police. They've got memory. They've got communication. They seen you once driving recklessly, they'll keep an eye out for you. And speeding that much will get you noticed by the police.

2847 fps on beamNG F**k yeah!

I wonder how long it would be until an average gaming rig has that kind of power.
