To be honest I don't really get the hipster classification or the hate towards it. A lot of the people who are put in that classification spend their time trying to live as decent a life as possible while searching of what makes them happy. Why villainize them for that. What is so wrong with shopping locally, supporting communities of people who make things you like and generally getting on with life. If someone loves the imperfections and specific mastering techniques that vinyl has then why is that an issue to others? I get that some people tend to view others as being super pretentious, but to assume that all people who try to live the above lifestyle are all twats is a pretty broad and unnecessary generalisation. Although pretty much every lifestyle seems to face similar hate, but for some reason hipsters seem to get it all the time.
Other than the Crosley mutilating devices they use to destroy their records I could care less about hipsters.

Well, in many ways I am a hipster, there's that too - which is one of the reasons my jimmies were a little rustled by someone bashing Macintosh Plus. However, both hippies and hipsters are recognizable sub-groups in society with distinct interests. That's enough to make an insult out of them, if I've learned anything from society.

What do you have against radiohead? Pablo honey was a terrible album and creep almost ruined them, but the bends, OK computer, and hail to the thief are awesome albums. it is a genre tho no doubt. Jonny greenwood plays some nasty guitar parts.
