If I were to sort all of the posts on this forum from most tasteful to least tasteful. This one would be pretty low down on the list.

Not kidding however, you can indeed make those toothpaste tubes legitimately sharp. As in, actually leaves a mark.

I always handle my toothpaste tubes the right way, so I don't deal with problems like that.

And yes, the first 9 words kinda sound wrong.

Eh, any time I do that, it's out of plain and simple retarded curiosity.

    Also, arm reveal. Heh.

There is no rising number of aircraft disasters. The chance to die in a plane crash are 1 in 11 million, while in a car (depends on the country) varies from 1 in 15k to 60k. Flying is the safest mode of transportation available.

Then obviously you've never heard of the Titanic disaster. The Titanic disaster is simply due to human arrogance and all other aspects of human behaviour. Originally, the Titanic was supposed to have 64 lifeboats, but the number was reduced down to 20 lifeboats. Reasons for that was because the designers of the Titanic believed that the deck would've been cluttered.

The lack of lifeboats on the Titanic was further bolstered by the lack of crew training. Even a lifeboat drill was originally supposed to be held in place the day before the Titanic sank, but the lifeboat drill was cancelled, for reasons still unknown to this very day. Because of this, many crew members were unaware of the capacity of Titanic's lifeboats, which was 65 people. As a result, many lifeboats were launched far below capacity the night Titanic sank. One of Titanic's lifeboats was launched with only 12 seats occupied.

The lack of lifeboats, and lack of capacity awareness resulted in a overwhelming fatality to survivor ratio, with only 712 people, and 1,500 people dying in the cold Atlantic waters that night.

And interestingly, the Titanic actually had more lifeboats than what was required at the time!

Yes, lifeboat requirements at the time required ships over 10,000 tons to have 16 lifeboats. Titanic exceeded that requirement by 4 lifeboats. As a result, Titanic had enough lifeboats for 1,178 of her 2,200 passengers she had onboard that night.

You're an idiot. Thousands of people all over the world die in car crashes every day. There are over 1 million traffic related deaths each year globally. Flying is far safer than driving.

The thing is that aircraft pilots are usually highly trained and there are fewer aircraft. While cars there is a bigger number of them and you have things like poor drivers, distracted drivers and drivers that are under the influence.

Bro there are lots of things that can kill you.

Are you thick? The numbers are right there in front of you.

Traveling by air is many times safer than traveling by water.
I can completely understand why you wouldn't like flying, I personally hate the helplessness, but don't try and say that planes are more dangerous than other forms of transportation.

Flying is legit the safest mode of transport by a longshot; even in an accident, your chances of survival are very good. Even as someone who has left the aviation community, I'd still fly before commuting via train, bus, or ferry.
