I guess so, it's the last year of high school. At the end of Year 12 you graduate and then go to TAFE of UNI or be a loser and go on the doll. We have reception then Y1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 and then finished.

Same thing happened to me in grade 9 French class. I told on him (which, kids, is the mature thing to do) and the teacher laid into him with the "how old are you?" spiel for five minutes straight. It was awesome.
Personally I fail to see why today makes any difference to that. All I can assume is that valentines day is a bigger deal in the US than elsewhere.
Heres a fun fact that might intruigue @lukerules117. Dude not only are there not hidden cameras spying on you. Over 40% of CCTV and traffic cameras in public spaces, arent plugged in. Research shows people behave better when they think theyre on camera so cameras get put up, they dont connect to anything (some you can even see the lack of cabling). On top of that, cameras, maintenance and staff to monitor them cost money. Fakes are cheaper.
