Oh no, now I am going to have to pull out the "I'm gay" card... As someone who is gay, none of anything that has been said on this page (or the prior) in relation to gayness so far has offended me. Just because I am gay and have said that doesn't mean I speak for all gays, being gay doesn't define your humour, moral ideologies or political opinions. Not to say that some won't naturally be more or less popular within gay people. Personally I am absolutely fine with people taking the piss out of gay people as long as it isn't intended to cause hatred or harm. Mostly cause I find the jokes funny too. Maybe a Stockholm syndromesque argument could be made about my sense of humour, but hey, I ain't no bastion of moral perfectness.
One of the biggest problems we have as a society is getting offended on behalf of others. "That offends me because it's offensive to [insert group here]" is the most common excuse I've heard for being offended and, 99% of the time, the group/person/whatever targeted by the joke isn't even offended anyway. If someone makes a gay joke that's clearly not hateful in any way, at least leave it to gay people to get offended before you do. If they're not (and @aljowen already said he's not), there's clearly no reason for anyone to be offended.
Just because I have depression doesn't mean I have a sense of humor, Einstein. It's these stupid, drawn-out conversations that these prepubescent little shits always get into that add nothing of value to the internet.
