Yet another 2hr long blackout in the lower adelaide hills. The twats at SA power networks need to sort their shit out.
Let me tell you the story of "Francis". Francis was a bottle of dish soap with a little sticky note that said Francis. It was brought into my honors biology class one day, and migrated to the back of the room. My bio class is filled with some of the smartest kids in the school, and it seems that book smarts don't equal common sense. They started tasting Francis. My Biology teacher watched, and commented, but he thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen, so he let them carry on. One day, Francis got left after class, and the next period had another biology class. My biology teacher explained to the next class what Francis was. Inevitably, the next class started tasting Francis. So, my biology teacher hid Francis, and we never saw it again... If these are the smartest kids in my school, then my faith in the human race is about zero...
Curiosity doesn't nullify intelligence. Let's face it, you use it to wash your dishes, there will be residue left on the dishes after washing, so it's not like that stuff is going to be harmful outside of large quantities. Plus it was probably a fun biology experiment for the teacher xD My shower thoughts for today: Whe does the church need insurance, surely that just mitigates God's plans? Dones the churches insurance cover against acts of God? --- Post updated --- Vera nice, although you may want to get some ventilation out back if you are gonna be rack fitting that whole unit.
although it may look like it was touching the back in the picture there is maybe 6 inches of space between the heatsink and the back of the cabinet thingy. So, I'm not sure.
Speaking of dumb experiments. News went mad with how nintendo switch game cartridges are coated in one of the most bitter chemicals known to be non toxic to humans. about 2 hours after I started playing zelda on the switch I could still taste it.
I've got a ton of stuff to do... I have to work on my config pack, start designing concepts for a certain secret project of mine, and I have to do a ton of stuff for other users... Skins for @FrIzErIs , Skins for one of my friends on a different site, Skins for @FS16 , and skins and configs for @Vinh's DTS mod. I've got a lot on my plate...
This morning was interesting, guy was on my yard felling my small trees with a chain saw, never seen a guy before. It should be noted that I own this small farm and there are no neighbors nearby. Before felling something from the guy I politely did ask what he think he is doing, claimed to be from power company, I questioned his sight as power lines run some distance from where he was working and he never touched trees under the said power line.
You can put the skins for me to the bottom of your to-do list, it'll take me some time to finish the map anyways. Thanks for doing them btw
No, for those I have a ton of ideas. The things on the bottom are my config pack (major WIP) and the secret project.
Okay so I upgraded my computer to the Creators Update earlier today (took 3 tries), but I restored it back to Anniversary 10 minutes later. It was quite buggy, programs were slow and Explorer was unresponsive. Didn't see Game Mode as a noticeable improvement and I wasn't too keen with some of the changes that Windows made. Although, I might update back to it sometime in the future unless Windows updates to it behind my back.
Does anybody have bad internet? I could use some advice. Bought a new house in the middle of nowhere, so the fastest internet is 25 Mb/s (3MB/s) and a 20Gb cap. What can I do? I play slot of games, which require big updates, and it said I used 120Gbs in the last 30 days. I don't know what to do. Edit - I haven't moved in yet, got until April 31.
If that's the max plan available, the only thing you can do is use less internet. It sucks, but that's pretty much all there is to it.
They deserved it. Overbooking is already scummy enough. Forcing a doctor off a flight because of your own poor management is even worse
