I actually mine Ethereum so it's a small passive income for the summer.

I'm a software engineer. I don't sit infront of a computer using vr. I sit infront of a computer writing, documenting, planning and fixing code. Also have a relevant degree and a fair bit of experience with electronics and microprocessor architecture.


I've worked previously in a pizza place (domino's specifically), landscape gardening, pubs, exam marking, warehouses. People do whatever they can to make money.

Within my university I had a reputation for being an ideal (albeit young) replacement for one of their lecturers too.

My monthly income was around 80 bucks before the difficulty shot up. I made close to that in 3 weeks but I joined too late. If I think about it long term, Bitcoin might hit 3,000$ or maybe 4,000$. I just buy ethereum or bitcoin when it's low and wait for it to shoot up.

 

What? Where the fuck did you get that from? I do machine maintenance and some server administration for the company I work for.

 

Couldn't you just sell the power back to your utulity company or keep it in batteries for use later, i dont think Ethereum is going to be that good long term.

Just noticed how my heatpump drains the water from the indoor unit in cool mode, it collects the water, goes down the pipe, goes over the outdoor unit coil, then to the bottom of the out door unit (maybe gets whipped up by the fan) and then runs through a small hole at the bottom of the unit and drips onto the floor, quite good as evaporative cooling helps it out a little bit (although in UK the temperature is not that high anyway, mostly used as a dehumidifier and slight cooling during summer.

We do however it's not really my electricity to begin with. Ethereum is not good for long term but buying and hodling is great. It might hit 1,000 dollars later, who knows.
