I tend to find that the internet is where most of the not nice people seem to spend a lot of their time. Since I don't often come across not nice people in public. (not to say that there aren't any)
I don't know. It's just that people think that they have to right be rude to others just because they have a computer screen infront of their face and just be mean. It really sucks how they have to ruin the internet for others to have a good time.
There is probably truth to that. Although I do have a (maybe controversial?) theory that a lot of "nice" people spend more time doing stuff outside of the internet. Whereas the internet has a lot people who don't go outside a lot, don't have many friends to socialise with and tend to have a more negative and corrosive view of the world. Not to say that everyone on the internet is awful, cause they aren't. EDIT: I also want to add that I am also not implying that everyone who doesn't have many friends is a bad person, since there are plenty of really nice people without many friends, but they also tend to be the less vocal people.
This. Maybe it's because some people are less comfortable making friends IRL instead of say, going on social media, playing video games with players they met on the game or going on forums. EDIT : So I stumbled upon this on Youtube. I find it very interesting.
Old street-level day to day videos always are. I found this years and years ago: If you can see around the morose context, it's pretty interesting to watch. Probably more the left panel than the right.
Maybe the internet and social media in general turns people into assholes. Back in the 80's, before all this, we got together, snorted coke, drank beer, banged hot hairy chicks and never got DUI's. Assholes back then either got urinated on or their butts kicked, or both. Seriously for real.
Well, if its retro car/town stuff we are looking at: A stupid way to store your car: A fairly neat way to store it: Unused archive video of cars: I have hyperlinked this before, but still interesting Fera might like this: Although their comment about London Busses tipping over is completely off base
Speaking of which.. This video doesn't have sound anymore as it got removed due to copyright but it had epic music playing throughout along with period commercials (there was one about comparing a door thunk of a Lexus with a contemporary Mercedes). There was also a part 2 but that got wiped entirely for some dumb reason. This is the kind of thing I hope to recreate one day in BeamNG.
I stumbled across this video about a year ago. I find the scenes from the tram (at the beginning and from 5:11 to the end) very interesting to watch, especially since I live fairly close by. You don't see as many films of Canada from this period.
