Well, today was a shit day. Some kid was picking up his brother from school, didn't yield in traffic, and hit me, the fucking cunt.
I'm starting to think of leaving the forums, afterall, i did nothing except post pictures, ask questions to random people related to mods and make crappy mods.
*facedesk* Every time the forums are okay, someone like you comes around and says suicide to get attention. Really? That's the one thing you can think of to say here? Not; "Hey guys, I need help with X" or "Hey guys, how's it going?" Just suicide, that's all some people can think about, isn't it? Saying that they will kill themselves just to get attention, apparently that's how this goes... Jesus fucking Christ, if you really are contemplating suicide, get a counselor for Christ's sake. [End Rant]
Everything that can be done has been done. Dumbass cop didn't issue a citation to the driver of the Camry that hit me, so now it's a no-fault accident. Fucking great, there's $1000 out of my pocket assuming they don't magically total my car somehow. I've always said: If someone is going to hit my car, fucking HIT IT! Don't leave me with a car in the shop for a month and a half, TOTAL THE MOTHERFUCKER ON THE SPOT! But no, he hit me just fast enough to avoid that.
Hm? The cop doesn't have to issue a citation to assign fault. Unless no report was written and you were counting on him issuing a citation to rule fault. Might work differently in Indiana or Illinois or Kentucky or Ohio or wherever. At the end of the day it's up the insurance companies to work it out anyway. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I know there's more that you can do than just counting on the cop to report it correctly. Unless the kid is giving a false statement to his insurance, there shouldn't be any issue deciding fault. I gotta say I agree on the totaling it on the spot thing though.
To be fair, this isn't new for CaffeinatedPixels. He's talked about it many times before. The fact that he's talking about it makes me hope that he's not committed to it.
A Guy reversed into me with his car and pushed me today, I'm sure he doesn't know why mirrors exists.
Small question. The oven in my flat likes to trip the power occasionally, is that a problem? I have never had issues with it but my flatmates last year managed to make it trip the circuit breaker twice (my flatmates thought via overheating) and the cleaners have now managed to make it trip the circuit breaker while cleaning it. But hey, at least the circuit breaker works well --- Post updated --- So the cleaners are now gone. Unfortunately so is the bin and my kettle. The bin owned by the accommodation provider, but the kettle owned by me. Frankly the kettle had certainly had better days, I loved how I didn't have to care too much about it because of that though, but it worked great and now I don't have a kettle. RIP Kettle 2015-2017 You will be missed.
