I had a Dual from the '70s for a few years. It wasn't crazy or anything but it was a good, well-made machine for well under $100. I'd probably still have it if it didn't fall and smash on the pavement while moving houses. On a different topic, I got some more license plates for my birthday. You can never have too many license plates
Noice, there's something about the more compact format of american/canadian/whatever plates that I really like, maybe it's that they're actually still made out of metal instead of plastic like many european plates....
Funny, I actually prefer the look of the European ones. I guess people will always be more interested in whatever they don't have to look at every day. Thanks! I can't really say it's my first foreign plate seeing as I already have one from Alaska, but it is my first one from what I guess I could call a significantly different part of the world. It feels like a milestone anyway
Well, Hertz Rent-A-Car decided to steal over $300 from me after turning the Elantra in, then they thought it was a good idea to lose all the paperwork having not made any copies. They refuse to reimburse me. Yup, that's a paddlin'.
was thinking of getting a metal plate, they are legal in the UK as long as theyre the correct colour and font
That's one thing I've heard about UK plates that I really like. Anything goes in regards to shape, size, and material as long as the typeface and colours are correct. That said, I actually didn't know they weren't all metal until I bought a second-hand British plate as a birthday present for my dad to put on his Land Rover (his province doesn't issue front plates, so European plates are popular as decoration) which was just screened acrylic. Actually, on the topic of British vanity plates, it's super annoying being the only person who actually knows how they work. I've honestly seen more people put yellow plates on the front of their car than white ones. Not only did I get a white one, I spent hours sifting though eBay to make sure I got one with the correct model year, 'cause I'm a nerd.
None have been metal since 70s or 80s, they're all acrylic, white front, yellow rear, any variation in color or Font is illegal, there's very strict rules on shape too
I LOVE when I'm filming and I have to restart the game because my main character's car's textures are all messed up!
I do too, but it gets extremely irritating. I had hair almost down to my armpits. I got tired of dealing with it.
Reading academic literature on "What is a Game?" presents far far more questions than answers. I think a better question would be "Do the benefits of creating a hard definition of 'game' outweigh the enormous amount of hours that have been poured into trying to create said definition?"
