Re: General discussion chat My parents are Ass-Holes. Just because I failed one class (that isn't even offered at my school) they start in on their same old bull shit talk... Well now I have to retake the class and because I have a shit load of time after school, I can do it then but my mom is worried that I won't do it and is probaly going to force me to come home. Well I have a message for her, what the hell is she going to do when I go to collage (in about 2 years) and she can't see what I am doing, drive to what ever collage I go to to check in... Kill Me Now!!!
Re: General discussion chat Well I guess it all depends on if you are going to need that subject to get into whatever you want to do in the future. But one way of looking at it is "only 2 more years" and then you can do what you want and be who you want to be. The problem with parents is that they mean good but they often do not fully understand the situation. Good intentions often lead to bad outcomes, especially if the people involved do not know enough. My advice would be to keep on top of the work to need to do for that topic and make sure you have evidence of progress so you can prove that you are doing work for when they will likely accuse you of not doing enough work.

Re: General discussion chat The thing is that one part of me wants to do well and get good grades. Last year I almost failed in one or two classes mostly because of blowing off homework. But another part of me says Netflix.
