I have a cold, its annoying for school because I'm sat there tearing up for no reason, sneezing snot everywhere, and coughing like a hag. I was looking at the corner of my room and thinking I could really use a bookshelf there, and literally five minutes later I found a free one on the side of the road five houses down. I now declare my corner useful.
If you couldn't afford to pay for it on your current paycheck, you probably can't afford it on your next one. Unless your pay check is going up, or your other expenses are going down.
