I imagine that it will be quite similar to now, but with a campaign built in, some extra cars and the already confirmed maps. Then DLC after that point. Whether they continue to update this game, start work on a version 2 or do something else will certainly be interesting.
I believe they said they would work on it far after it's completed, because of the engines usefulness is so vast. (or something like that)
Having just read a plot analysis for Prey 2017 after seeing the recent extra credits video, I am now in "paranoid that inanimate objects will kill me" mode However, I am super glad that games like Prey exist, the plot is really interesting, for reasons that i won't detail for spoiler reasons. Even if I won't play it for the sake of my own sanity Obviously don't read the article if you plan on playing the game and don't want the plot spoiling. (Hint: the plot is pretty intense with a really neat after credits scene) Spoiler: Article that I read https://www.gamecrate.com/prey-story-and-ending-analysis/16265 Spoiler: Extra Credits Video (less time to digest, but doesn't fully explain the story)
So BeamNG's website is blocked by my friend's house ISP because "Websites from Germany are a security threat."
Do they block our least favorite russian sites too? Ya know, along with every file share site ever because idots cant resist the fancier looking download button.
Aren't ISP's great? I remember when SkyUK came out with their 'shield' porn filter thing. It was on by default, and managed to block just about everything but the thing they were aiming for. I imagine there aren't many using it anymore
It'd be the better way to do it, but they'd probably still be doing it today. And new sites always pop up. There's really no real 'win' situation
Don't you hate it when stuff is over complicated for no reason whatsoever? Well, purchasing games has not been a fun experience for me... I wanted Saints Row 2. So, I bought a physical disk for the X360. It didn't work, so I returned it and bought the digital download. That didn't work either, so then I bought the digital version for the PS3. That finally worked. So, I bought Watch Dogs over the weekend for my PS4, and... You guessed it! It didn't work! I'm not sure if going through all the effort to find a working copy again will be worth it. And no, I specifically want the original, not the sequel. Is it worth it to continue on with trying to find a working copy?
Watchdogs is an alright game (I enjoyed it for the most part atleast) but I don't know if it's worth buying it multiple times just to get a working copy. Is it a physical copy? And what happens when you try and play it. 'Didn't work' could mean literally anything
The PC version of Saints Row 2 is known to be a pile of crap, its super buggy and barely works. However there is a mod that fixes the bugs and makes it run much better.
oh they are, it blocks web archive and etc. loads of shit. oh and i found this on the forum, excellent idea
Luckly it's not too bad to install either. However, the game still doesn't work 100%. Even with the mod (which does also add some things like developed content that was locked out, which is a plus) the PC port runs 100x worse than the PS3's for example.
As much as I can complain about having crappy internet providers, at least I've never had to deal with an ISP forcing a filter on my internet. That sounds awful.
Anyone else got a glimpse of the McDonald's Szechuan Sauce thing on Saturday? Wow, I am so late to this one. It was an interesting spectacle to say the least.
