Depends on the day. If it's the weekend, no problem. If it's a weekday, that means I've missed classes.
I swear I've heard a non-techno version of this song before, particularly 0:17 to 0:40. Does anyone else recognise it? I've been searching for an hour and can't find anything. I'm starting to wonder if this was the song I heard, and that I have somehow implanted a very distinct false memory of hearing a different version somewhere else. Like, so distinct that I'm digging through old YouTube playlists because it's so familiar it seems like I've heard it a thousand times.
I know I'm late to this, but I might actually recommend the first Assassin's Creed. I'd recommend it with great caution: the side mission structure is extremely repetitive, the combat clunky and slow, the stealth often quite frustrating, and the modern-day sequences (which I always actually liked, but that most people couldn't stand for the life of them) feature frequently. The gameplay lacks polish and there are some pretty obvious features and abilities that should have been there that wouldn't be added until 2. But, if you can see beyond all this, the game plays out like my ideal heist-esque game: you have a target, you do side missions to learn about them. You don't need to do all the side missions, but you feel the pull to learn as much as you can about who you're going to kill. And once you do kill them: run like hell. These tense chases across the city are some of my more profound memories in gaming, and hardly feature in later games. Otherwise, I would say that 2 and Black Flag are sound. Both were solid on a technical level, and both introduce the series' best main characters. Brotherhood was an offshoot of 2, and if it weren't for story-critical moments, I'd think it would have been a better DLC, though it was the game that sped up the combat. Just be warned that Black Flag is pretty proud of its naval combat, so be ready to do a lot of it. Perhaps it's an old folk song that was just incorporated into the music for... whatever reason. Like how 'All You Need Is Love' starts with the tune of 'La Marseillaise' even though it has nothing to do with France (also, maybe it's just the choice of instruments, but my mind can't make up whether this song snippet sounds Celtic or east Asian. Maybe I'm just tired enough not to be able to tell the difference).
I did start to get some Asian vibes after a few listens as well, but I'm certain that whatever song I'm thinking of is Celtic or Nordic influenced in some way. The first thing I did was skim through the How to Train Your Dragon and Braveheart OST's, but no luck. I'm drawing nearer to the conclusion that this mystery song doesn't exist. The only reason I hesitate to give in is that I remember the melody being slower than in TheFatRat version. Also, the strange juxtaposition of traditional and electronic sounds just makes it seem so much like a remix to me, even though there's no indication given anywhere that it is. --- Post updated --- I just played it again having not listened for a couple hours and I the first few notes hit me like a tonne of bricks. I know I've heard this before. Either that or I've completely lost my marbles.
I made a small mistake, i just recognized well meters, but not feet, i'm 6ft(i'm still damn tall for my age)
Nearly got ran over by a hybrid today... That is my future. Well, I can't believe that Britain is going to be making diesel ILLEGAL sometime.
Same statement could have been made if you were nearly ran over by a gasoline car. "I almost got hit by a electric car today, I can't believe that the USA is going to be making gasoline cars illegal"
Or they add sounds to a car, though, not needed for over 30kph (or maybe even slower), cuz you can clearly hear tire and wind noise then. And why do most ppl think in near future we only have electric cars and internal combustion engines are gone? You can't them ban anyway atm. Electric cars will be for a long time just additionally to ICEs
A mad conspiracy theorist was running around in our city centre, brandishing knives and yelling "The government and CIA are controlling our minds!". He was shot dead by the police. Also, me and one girl almost set fire to our high school building. Don't ask how, but it involved jack-o-lanterns. The teachers were totally spooked.
Why did I pay so much money for a Dell Inspiron 3000 to use as a travel laptop?... It sucks and costs half as much as the laptop I use for gaming.... Its about 18 months old, I only got it because the one I got for Christmas 2015 self-destructed after a month I got it and I wanted to give it another chance. I have MATLAB open with two google tabs in the background and it is seriously not happy... the build quality is atrocious, the SSD has about 200Gb memory, and its battery life is mediocre at best. Doubleplus unhappy.
