I found a pink thumb tack in my bed. I don't even have anything hanging on my walls with thumb tacks.
insert roblox oof sound here Anyhow, I finally started watching Rick and Morty. Memes aside, it's actually a damn good show.
So Netflix has made a live action version of Erased. You’d think they would’ve learned their lesson after Death Note, but I guess not. Live action versions of anime rarely ever work. First of all, a lot of the careful artistic planning (example 1, example 2) is lost in the transfer from the animation to live action. It’s not to say that the same details can’t be portrayed, but there’s much less control over small details in the live action format. Secondly, live action anime adaptations have a very small audience. Anime fans will be hesitant to watch them (especially after Death Note), because they’ve likely already seen the story in anime format, and because of the likely loss of attention to detail and artistic planning in the transfer from one medium to another. Also, non-anime fans won’t want to watch the live action adaptations because they’re not very localized to the US. Erased was obviously originaly recorded in Japanese, and the dub is terrible. Live action dubs never work. And to top it off, they don’t seem to be using Re:Re: in the live action version of Erased. I love that song! I can’t imagine this will turn out well, but we’ll see. My friend started watching it, and says it’s “actually not bad,” but then again, she hated WataMote, so I’m not sure I trust her opinion. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I do hope this inspires people to watch Erased (the anime) though. I highly recommend it! (⌒▽⌒)
Just throwing it out there, but there is the option to 'whitelist' things on it. So you can whitelist a Youtuber or something, to support them, and also block the ads on a news website or something, so that the website actually loads and functions, as apposed to just crashing the browser. Also, I know the ad situation on Youtube isn't the best right now, but 9 ads for something that long?! There's honestly no reason for it.
My life has just broken into a thousand pieces. I broke the trust of someone extremely close, and now I don't know what to do. I'm a horrible human being and don't deserve to see the light of another day. On the plus side, I turn 20 tomorrow... yay, I guess.
The same just happened to me Thursday, too. I broke the trust of my best friend since 2nd grade, and now I have no clue what to do. I have until ~mid-day tomorrow to come up with something or that friendship will never return.
If it's about the one made with the Wayback Machine, there is a reason for them. They're case in points for why we want to see things improve around here.
I won't ask what happened, but don't beat yourself up about it! I mean, that never makes anything better... And it may be a stupidly small insignificant thing, but theres plenty of people here if you ever need a chat or anything...
