$120 for the box, CD, manual, and a free copy of how they created the game's Jasper setups granted I bought it in 2011 when downloads were sketchy at best, but still I got some good shit yes I'm aware I have the cd key displayed, fuck is papyrus gonna do bout it?
Actually yes, and TBH I think it doesn't look too bad. If Sony doesn't screw it up, they could potentially have themselves a decent horror flick about Slender Man.
whatever you do, DO NOT buy the cheapest ssd you can find at your local pc repair shop. after only 6 months with this one in my desktop, it failed today. No data recovery software I used was able to find anything. I was smart enough to make a backup of this drive a few days ago, but it is still frustrating to have it fail on such a short notice. Time to get some money and go buy another Samsung evo 850, which I have in this laptop.
That's fan-made. No movie company would be that dumb to create an actual film about a destructive fidget spinner...
So I've stumbled upon this IHOP commercial on YouTube and dear god the quality of it is so poor. Everything on the exterior scene are clearly diecast models (notice that the black car the plane strikes is a GT-R while a Fairlady S30, which looks like a black Devil Z, gets scrapped by one of the engines). Also, this appears on TV...
I don't get why they don't CGI it. Plus, before the diecast model scene, the scenery outside the plane is a airport, which means that they made probably two separate scenes from each other, then decided to mash it up.
I mean I give them credit for actually making that model, which I now want. But as for everything else.....ew.
I think the importance of good SFX/VFX stops with comedy, especially commercials. Oftentimes, the cheap production quality aids the comedy. As for CGI, they probably would have had to have spent more money on 3d modellers and animators. By using miniatures, they get a more natural-looking (if not strictly realistic) result with a fraction of the budget and most likely less time*. *Unless the models were all purpose-built for the commercial, in which case that would drive up the time budget.
Cats are very highly skilled at putting themselves precisely where they will be most in the way at any given moment.
