What a sorry failure of law enforcement. Does nothing to combat crime, yet always ready to protect its monopoly on doing so.
Same thing here in the states. A few years ago someone broke into my car, stole an Apple Watch, some CDs, and a monitor. Total was less than $500 in the eyes of the police despite fingerprint evidence everywhere. Rediculous.
Just noticed that this thread is back. I guess now I don't have to crap up the Personal Micro Blogs with my shitposts anymore!
Most locks are outsourced to reliable, dependable security companies, not a company that runs Hire a PI and sue in the civil system.
Made me think of this video I watched. I simply don't understand how 76 got the reputation it got. Then again I haven't played any of the Fallout games. I do thank it for helping me discover that there is actually a country song out there I can stand listening to. I hate country music, but I kinda like Country Roads, Take Me Home by John Denver.
That's not a hard accolade for a series that has been generally well liked. Also, Merry Christmas everyone
I want to get rid of the Yukon's cats. They've gotta be clogged up, with how the engine was burning oil before I rebuilt it, and they're pretty likely the reason why it's somewhat down on power. But apparently the "for off-road use only" cat-less sections of pipe you could get that would bolt directly in place of the factory cat-pipes are illegal now or something. I still see them if I look around for them though. Who knows.
Yes, I could absolutely have legally shot to kill. It's someone unannounced within my property (We have (or had) something called "Castle Law" in the state of Ohio), I had the legal right to kill them. HOWEVER, this is America. I kill them for being in my property, I get arrested, charged with possession of a deadly weapon, have a shit ton of legal fees, then the assailants family sues me for wrongful death, which equates to EVEN MORE legal fees, etc. etc.... --- Post updated --- Oh that's right, you're in Tennessee aren't you? Y'all have emissions inspections down there? I can cat-delete to my heart's content up here in Ohio and still be able to register. Out of state vehicles, too. It's just a basic one-time safety inspection (horn, lights, rust, etc.) then it's off to the races.
No emissions inspections here, or even basic safety inspections. I just don't have the means to delete the cats myself and I'd imagine most shops wouldn't do it. That's why I'd rather just have a y pipe without cats that will bolt in place of the factory one with cats. Emissions inspections are a municipality-level thing down here. No state wide laws about it, but cities, counties, and towns have the authority to instate it themselves. I know Hamilton county, which is the county Chattanooga is in does them. Mine doesn't.
