One thing I do know is that you probably shouldn't open it and mess with it unless you are confident that you know what you are doing. Unlike most modern electronics, CRT's pose a serious electrocution risk (as in potentially deadly).

Ofc, anything with a mains psu can also be deadly. But in CRT's the actual display technology itself can be.

I live too close for a bus, but too far that it isn't a bitch to walk.

Today I learned that there is no defined standard for the mathematics used to transform a time domain wav audio file into its (mostly frequency domain) MP3 file. This therefore means of I convert a file to MP3, with the same settings used every time but using different converters each time, I won't necessarily get the same resulting file every time
    --- Post updated ---
The rules/method for converting from MP3 data to listenable sound are fixed, just my conversion from original sound to that data may vary

Would like to live in the past, actually. Hate that time progresses into the future and wish that it was still 2011, lol.

    Unpopular Opinion:

The new Supra is a worthy successor. Change my mind.

No 2JZ, no manual, no rear seats, smaller trunk. Its not the fast and fun GT car that it once was. Also BMW drivetrain? Are they crazy? Toyotas have built their reputation off of reliability and not having super strict maintenance schedules and cheap parts prices. What were they thinking?

Doesn't need rear seats, trunk can still fit golf clubs.

It's also hilarious, you know the 2JZ wasn't a Toyota engine, right? It was a Yamaha block and head. The Mk. 3 Supra had a Toyota designed straight-6, the 7M-GTE. They aren't anywhere near as robust as the 2J because the 2J isn't a Toyota engine. Much like the 4A-GE, which I believe was a Cosworth engine based on a Ford architecture. Toyota's "great" engines weren't designed by them.

I am aware of that, but BMW doesn't even come close to designing "great" engines. The Supra was supposed to be a comfortable sports car that you could take on long trips, so rear seats aren't necessary, but the trunk should be large enough to carry at least 2 fullsize suitcases.

Yeah they do. The S85, S66, S54, the M88? The engine that spawned BMW M?
