Mazda really are on a roll as of recently. They've got a new RWD 6 coming out with a new Inline-6 engine, their new Skyactive-X compression ignition gasoline engine is extremely big news, and further proof that the ICE concept is far from dead despite how Europeans and Environmentalists wished that weren't the case. They're supposedly working on an ICE concept engine with a thermal efficiency of over 50%. It's insane. Moreover, I've stumbled across this: That sounds like a rotary engine in that. Mazda have been confirmed saying that they have developed a rotary engine that exceeds even the most stringent of emissions standards set by world governments. I'd imagine they're using something close to their Skyactive-X technology for that engine. I wished that Mazda were as ubiquitous as Toyota or Honda. They're an amazing car company that builds CARS that are GOOD. Every Mazda model I've come across has been wonderful. They're a company with a rich history of innovation and they continue to innovate and push technological boundaries to this very day. Good on you, Mazda. I may buy one of your cars some day.
I saw that video too, really got me interested in mazda again. I with mitsubishi would do the same too, their market line-up consists of crossovers and an egg shaped hatchback, and a not-so fast lancer, with a cvt(for the base model). dont get me wrong, it is still pretty quick, but, it doesnt give the essence of the old evo's, unlike subaru

I kinda agree on you with the "you do realize" part, that really came out of nowhere. So, even if the lancer is sold in asia, well, parts of it, I don't think there are many people that will go for the evo, and Mitsubishi doesn't really seem to be doing anything with a gen 11 lancer. And I know there is a proton that is a rebadged lancer, but how exiting is that? Mitsubishi, which once was really kicking ass with the evo in rally, 3000gt on the road, now has a couple suv's, one of them is the eclipse, and not even a fuel efficient sedan.
