The whole existance of EU vs UK vs US game servers is simply quality of service, typically a US to EU ping is quite high compared to US to US or EU to EU so they simply stick a server in each and have the EU players use the EU one and US players use the US one for best performance. EDIT: well, quite a few will detect where you are from and place a flag by you, but I have been registered as american, norwegian or french from that before...
Re: General discussion chat I'm actually a Yes supporter (not because I hate England though!) Currently we are ruled by a government that the majority of Scots didn't vote for (the majority was Labour) and we got the bedroom tax and the Royal Mail privatised. Independence would mean we get the government we vote for. As for 6677's points, the statement that Scotland has no economy is laughable. We have a higher GDP per person than the rest of the UK.... Also, the military will be funded with the £10 billion we save by not contributing to a Trident replacement. Also, we may get £1200 a head more than the average of the UK but we pay £1800 in tax more than the average of the UK, meaning we would be £500 better off. As a final point, the EU is a moot point as our status as a member is unsure either way with the promised UK referendum.

Besides, your economy is based on the british pound which you have been told you wont be able to use anymore. Whether you vote yes or no, not my business. But I personally believe just breaking off from england in one go isnt going to work, it needs to be a gradual process.

Re: General discussion chat The whole point is that by cutting out the middle man, we get more money and get to spend it on what we want. Yes there will be risks but I think that they're worth taking to live in a more democratic society without nuclear weapons and a Tory government.
Re: General discussion chat To be honest im fine either way. If they stay then both countries may be better off. But if they leave there is a chance that they will have a government that actually acts in the interests of their own citizens. If they end up with a political system that aligns more with my views than the rest of the UK then i may even be tempted to move up there if/when i get the chance (which will certainly be a while from now). I guess one of the biggest reasons why i would want them to split is to see what will happen. It could be interesting to see. Happiness is not defined by how much money you have, if they end up with less money per capita but higher overall happiness just from leaving it may be worth it on those grounds alone.
