I'm not one for BEV either, but it's more for environmental reasons. Lithium mining is incredibly dirty. I feel that holds a little more water than "tHeYrE bOrInG".
The geoff on Top Gear in my opinion is one the most hilariously awful cars. Anyways, @appesh1 and @Phym. How would you two feel if you were in the geoff?
Thank you. Back when I was in college, pretty much everyone was brainwashed into thinking that electric cars are good. I love it when someone agrees with me. And also, you are absolutely right, if you live in the US, then did you know that over 67% of electricity is made from coal. Bottom line is, EV companies can make all the claims about cleaner emissions, and that is true when you drive the EV, but where the electricity is sourced makes things just as bad as ICEs. --- Post updated --- Trapped, if I were in the bubble thingy in the top, I would tell whoever's would be driving it to not pull a Richard Hammond.
Additionally, they aren't helping with destroying vehicular emissions. The actual issue is the mass overproduction of vehicles, that is taking a toll on the environment. Besides, the EV bandwagon gets more toxic and just an absolute trainwreck, with people thinking that EVs should be enforced and shit.
Thanks for the information. Oh yeah, by the way. The geoff only had 2 batteries and had a top speed of 10 MPH before they changed it. You would probably end up stranded in the countryside or somewhere like that in the geoff. Lol Well, you did say you were an engineer, so your college career was probably for the best =) I am thinking about making comedy/entertainment videos when I grow up and I'm hoping I can make a living wage off that, but I have to get through 2020, learn how to drive, get through high school, buy video equipment, possibly get a part time job, etc. I'm not that interested in electric cars, though the geoff is the best comedy car in the world =D By the way @ManfredE3, the Chinese spambot is back again =P

I'm not vegan either, but I really like these things where they look like meat, but they're actually made from plant-based ingredients.
