Fine, you can like greta, but that doesn't mean I have to. I didn't want a big fight, I'm just leaving it here.
Not to continue the argument, but just stating my opinion. Which is apparently completely illegal on the internet nowadays and I'll be dead by next Tuesday. The car industry could probably be doing a little better if people didn't keep losing faith in it all the time, saying it's dying is fairly harmful and tempting fate. People aren't as seemingly interested in cars so much today because they aren't interested in quite the same way anymore. Yes, on the surface it might be 'iPhone connectivity this' and '30-inch touch screen that' instead of Multipoint-EFI and Four-speed-manuals-with-overdrive, but the fascination with speed, power, status and ultimately freedom, will always be there. And this "Greta is making teens think cars are bad" is a load of bollocks. Yes, she's probably mentioned them, though I don't recall her directly, or indirectly, saying anything along the lines of 'cars are bad'. She has however said that aeroplanes are bad, many times over, but I don't think your average teen would think twice about jetting off to the Bahamas or Ibiza. Even with the Coronavirus risk.
Okay, can nobody please respond to my post. I dislike greta, that's my opinion. Like Jeremy Clarkson said, she needs to go to school and only THEN can she solve climate change. A fourteen year old girl is simply unable to "change the world." I respect your opinion though.
I respect your opinion, and agree with you (not wholly but to some degree). I don't like Greta either, seems to me like she's only trying to out-do her famous sister and/or mother in terms of world wide attention. Just so happens that she's talking about current problems and she's very outspoken, extremely self-righteous, still a child, and that's why she's got so much attention. (Attention from supporters, and an equal amount of hate from others, but at the end of the day - for some; any attention is good attention.) FYI - I do not deny climate change, it is certainly a thing and we should probably be doing something about it.
Does anyone wonder what happened to WhyBeAre? I noticed that one of everyone's all-time favorite BeamNG YouTubers, WhyBeAre, hasn't been uploading since 2019. We're in March and his latest video is from 2019! I know there were multiple times where he went 2-3 weeks without uploading anything, but I'm starting to get this strange feeling that maybe his channel died off, since we still have yet to see him upload in 2020. I hope he didn't leave, as he is almost at a million subscribers, and if he actually left, he would abandon an entire community he built that loves him. Just look at his latest video and all the comments from people hoping that he will return! I've been watching his videos since 2016, and I just hope he's doing ok IRL and returns to YouTube soon.
you are right, here is a list of good BeamNG channels to watch in the meantime: Neilogical Drae Camodo Gaming At least for me.
Not to mention, whatever happened to when everyone did actual gameplay of the game and not those spammy "crash comp" videos? Those kind of ruin it for me, just look at how much views they get... :|
I don't like my mouse. It likes to double-click at the most inopportune times. Here's an example: Let's say I'm on Beam and I want to spawn a new vehicle. I click on a vehicle in the selector. The mouse double-clicks, and the original vehicle is replaced by the new one. It's really annoying when I'm trying to set up a scene.
I don't like your mouse. It called me fat yesterday. YBR really seems to have lost all enthusiasm for video making. Can't say I blame him, seeing how much YouTube generally sucks now. I'm really not a fan of any of the BeamNG Youtube content creators except for Failrace and Jimmy Broadbent. Everyone else just seems like they are going too strongly for the younger crowd to get the ad revenue. High pace, low preparation, generally clueless about the content, etc...
I did read the comments on YBR's latest video and they were talking about how he stopped posting. By the way, I have a question for you. Are you subscribed to WhyBeAre?
Yes, I am subscribed to YBR. Every day I wait for him to upload a new video, but I still have yet to see him upload. I was referring to the majority of the BeamNG channels on YouTube, not the channels you mentioned in your post.
Those short attention span content creators may as well be crash compilation makers as far as I'm concerned. Their mod/content "reviews" are just smashing cars into walls for 15mn as they have no idea what they are talking about half the time.
I especially hate those weird "Cars jumping into (insert random object)" videos. Those are just all around crappy.
