Re: General discussion chat All in good fun of course. I have no problem with Australia or it's people. Americans are probably worse than australians. Kinda funny.
Re: General discussion chat Is using your phone while driving actually allowed in the US? Its an offense in the UK, I actually got pulled over for it once even though I didn't have a phone in the car and couldn't have been using it as a result.
Re: General discussion chat Maybe he was hoping to find something hilariously funny in my boot as he rummaged through it (or trunk for Americans). He did query why I had a petrol can and also why there was a tyre iron in there, response for both: its a car, I may need those things. He was eventually satisfied and left.
Re: General discussion chat No, years ago talking on cell phones while driving was outlawed. Doesn't stop people from doing it though.
Re: General discussion chat But we all know you plan to beat an old lady with the tire iron & pour the petrol over a nun

Re: General discussion chat I hung the right fender on my car so poorly that you can see the brand new HUGE panel gap from the street.
Re: General discussion chat Its been illegal for a while now Sent from the 3rd galaxy from the talks of tapping
Re: General discussion chat My school-issued Chromebook is now fully solid state (I took the fan out.)
Re: General discussion chat This disgusts me. The Mazda rx7 is coming back in 2017 and people are posting all this crap (concept designs). Some look like rx8s with slanted headlights, very unattractive. And some look identical to the Mazda 6! But honestly, this is what I think it should look like. (The drawing is my interpretation of what the new rx7 should look like(W.I.P)
Re: General discussion chat I myself don't think that the first one is too bad. With some different headlights (wider, like on most cars) and the associated fascia and hood changes, it could look pretty awesome.
Re: General discussion chat If they make a new RX-7 they should make it look exactly like the FB. Because fuck modern car design.
Re: General discussion chat We test drove a crown vic today. So we we had the Firebird block, crankshaft, and heads in the back of the truck and we were taking them to a machine shop to get cleaned and polished and shit. We were in Marryville, about a 20 minute drive from my house. We were going down this little road and there was this used car lot with a crown vic on it. Right when I saw it, I knew it was this http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/4662904474.html that same fockin exact car. I recognized the chrome stripping, the unique center caps, and that same blue Silverado was sitting behind it. So we went and got some lunch, and when we were going back down that road, we stopped to take a look at it. There was that, and another one. An 04 grey one, I could tell it was a P71, but it had the Hubcaps that some of them came with. We were standing there looking at them, and this guy walked out of the building. I was expecting a man in his 30s, with his jet black hair slicked back and in a suit. The exact opposite of that. An old guy came out, in almost casual clothes, and grey hair. He was nice, but not the overly nice and smiley like your typical used car salesman. Anyway, I was mainly focusing on the p71 I saw on craigslist, but when the guy asked if we wanted to test drive it, my dad picked the nicer 04 one. The 98 was pretty clapped out, the 04 was much nicer. I kept telling him to floor it so I could hear some'a that p71 whine. He did, but never long enough to really climb up into the RPMs. "didn't want to speed" puss. I got the dude to start up the 98 and I popped the hood. There was a sound that almost sounded like a quiet whining power steering pump that would get quiet for 5 seconds or so then get louder, and the motor was shaking back and forth. Only had 139k, but it was a normal patrol car, so I'm sure it spent it's service life being abused. Poor thing. I'm also mad at myself for forgetting to ask him if it had ABS, as it wasn't standard until 99. I've been wondering that since I first saw the ad.
Re: General discussion chat Well, I was looking around and I finally found the model number for our $300 mower. Apparently there was a recall for it because it would catch fire, so that's nice. I still dunno how I would go about a pulley swap. (Does anyone know what I would have to do to do that?)
