Another mod out today, 2000 HM Balto. https://www.beamng.com/resources/2000-hm-balto.12874/ --- Post updated --- ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°)
I feel you man. One of my posts in this thread got deleted for no reason even though I was just discussing a video game and was nothing "harmful" in the slightest.
I know, that sucks. As a user on Discord, I can totally understand why. They use the n-word on there a lot and I saw some WWII German symbol related to a board game, I think. I'd rather not go into detail about it. I'm kinda done with the site for right now, but I may or may not go back to it at a later date, though. We'll see.
I think that's an overly broad statement. Your experience on Discord is going to be based entirely on the communities you're a part of. Some are toxic, some are awesome. I would struggle to think of the last time I'd seen somebody use a racial slur on Discord because I simply avoid communities with that kind of environment.
I think the way to look at it is Discord is still just the internet. Some groups will be just your friends, some will be all people you don't know. Some will be amazing, some will be terrible. If it's a public Discord server I don't see it being much different from a public discussion forum for a game or any interest. And different games/interests/whatever will attract a different crowd. As @98crownvic says, you need to avoid the communities that don't work for you.
Guys, I quit Discord. I could tolerate the "bullying", but I can't tolerate Nazi bs. @Wheel Nut and @98crownvic do make a good point when they talk about the Discord community stuff, but I'm done with the unofficial BeamNG forums community. I'm tired of them using the n-word and the Nazi references. @Phym, @SuperAusten64, and @MrJavelin, if you guys enjoy Discord. Great, but I'm done with it. I know there are different communities I could go to, but I just wanna stay on the BeamNG forums for now. @appesh1, I'm curious as to how you're doing tonight.
@Grind86 yeah I would absolutely not be a part of those communities! The main way in which I use Discord is with a group of friends I know in real life and we chat about car racing and do voice chat when we're car racing online. For that, Discord is fantastic. But I've tried the big public servers and they can very much be hit or miss
The AI around this part of WCUSA drives really weird. They often go backwards on this road, then turn around. So much so that the cop actually hit the Roamer. I have no idea what the actual heck the 200BX is doing lol
I was there, too. I forgot to take the picture, but that same cop car was driving backwards on the on ramp, the drove backwards as fast as he could hitting the barrier. I guess Los Angeles really does have bad drivers. Thank god I live in Canada. --- Post updated --- Lol, the AI is good at chasing people, but now so much just pulling them over. --- Post updated --- This is getting ridiculous.
