Re: General discussion chat Well, I just had a band concert. That was the boring part of tonight. As we got home, we noticed a relatively huge fire on the horizon. Got there in 15-ish minutes on dark backroads, and it seems to have been a big fire in someone's field. Unfortunately, by the time I got the camera+telephoto lens set up the fire department arrived and it was out in 10-15 minutes. Still, an interesting experience. Oh, and I was in my fancy dress clothes the whole time .

Re: General discussion chat going to be getting a really long ethernet cord soon, sadly my current usb adapter seems to be dying (might as well be using dial-up again) so i thought might as well get something where speed won't be a problem (and yes, i'm sure it's my adapter, as i can have my phone in the exact same position, or even farther away, and still get full speed)
Re: General discussion chat In the meantime you may be able to plug your phone into your pc, turn your phones wifi on and then tether through the phone so you can get internet without cellular data being an issue. That is how my pc used to be hooked up at all times, the speeds and ping times weren't too bad through a galaxy s2. But wired is certainly very nice to have, i personally prefer it to any form of wireless on a stationary device because it is so easy to deal with.
