Re: General discussion chat I tied a string to the throttle linkage on the ford to make it rev higher. The normal throttle still works but when I pull the string it goes into maximum overdrive.
Re: General discussion chat I would do something like that but my dad would get mad. Plus my brother would probably yank it all the way and throw the rod. I'll stick with sticking my hand under the hood. Anyway, I did some looking into why my Precision M4400 FX1700m GPU runs so hot. Apparently the NVS 160m that this thing used to have before I swapped the motherboard with an M4400 motherboard uses 12w. The FX1700m uses 50w. No wonder why my battery life is so bad now. (I should replace the aging 9 cell with a huge 12 cell.)

Re: General discussion chat Looking good! Nice to see partlines happening for the front apron. Are you going to cut a bonnet in, or have the whole front section lift up like an F40? Make sure you have your measurements for height, length, wheelbase, width and track nicely proportioned, otherwise the car will look really weird, like this embarrassingly bad, super early bodyshell of that sexy supercar Mythbuster's been flaunting in the Dev Screens thread.

Re: General discussion chat My auxiliary jack for my headphones is charged or some shit. Auxiliary jack is plugged into transmitter which transmits to the headset. When I touch it to any part of my body it makes a noise. It differs in how loud it is based on where I put it. My head is the loudest, and I can feel it shocking me when I touch it. If I put in on my arm, pretty much nothing. Weird man. Strongest on my lip. Strong enough to where I can feel it spreading through the rest of of my body.
Re: General discussion chat Jesus christ, I just tried the multiplayer in NCG... or whats now called Wreckfest. I've not had that much fun in a game in a LONG time. I hope BeamNG can offer a similar experience... less manic but more immersive. Think we'll ever see 24 cars on a track handled at 60fps?

To do it now, this is what is required: Quad SLI 980's, dual i7 core processors running @ 6.0 GHz, lots of water cooling, lots of thermal paste and lots of hope that it still reaches that high Or... you know... you could spend about $100 Million dollars buying Columbia, NASA's supercomputer, if you are impatient.

Re: General discussion chat I am not trying to spark a flame/fanboy war, but, if you bought Gran Turismo 6, sony couldn't care less if you hacked. I hacked for $50 Mil once I finished the game, bought myself a $20 Million Ferrari 250 GTO.
