Re: General discussion chat Have you got an ethernet shield? If so this may interest you: http://forum.stellarisiti.com/topic/1893-simple-irc-example/ As this is for the Tiva connected launchpad in the energia IDE rather than arduino IDE with an AVR and ethernet shield a few changes need to be made for it to compile. Set buffersize needs commenting out I had to #define USR_SW1 2 and add an include for SPI (the Tiva connected launchpad has ethernet integrated not SPI slave) for it to build for my arduino mega. Sketch size estimated at 16334 bytes with 1624 bytes of SRAM usage. I don't have an ethernet shield to test it with (do have the tiva instead though ). Still, arduino IRC bots ftw.
Re: General discussion chat Cream soda is my favorite. Especially Sprecher or A&W. But I'll generally have any cream soda I can get my hands on.
Re: General discussion chat I would drink a lot more, but the water at my house is only good at midnight and the only other good water is at school from the water fountains.
Re: General discussion chat haha cool. I'm actually planning to get an Ethernet shield pretty soon, so i'll definitly do this ;D
Re: General discussion chat the beauty of the IRC protocol, so simple and open that a client can be written on just about any platform in theory (in practice it will be interesting to see how the AtMega copes). All done and dusted at uni for this academic year. Sitting on ass til september, bored already
Re: General discussion chat Well you could try making a mod for BeamNG, Learning how to make maps and cars will take you past September easily
Re: General discussion chat Who remembers that beast? My $60 bike is doing me well, after a while it didn't start, took like 200 kicks. Turns out one of the tappets was stuck down, so I changed that and it runs like a beast. Also.. I cut up some plastics from a KX125 to fit, doesn't it look like swag? I was thinking I'll spray the rest black, and sticker it. (imported from here) Fully rebuilt KX125 on the left ^^ It scares me.
Re: General discussion chat OMG! I finally get to see what that bike looks like, after almost me buying you a new one. You don't need a new one that looks like gold. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Re: General discussion chat I recall someone saying how with linux they could never get ethernet or wifi working on their PC. Well I found an old memory stick this morning with a bit of tape around it saying "linux", used it years ago with a Linux live installer on it. Booted it up on my laptop to see what version, had a few hiccups with not getting any display output (nomodeset from grub fixed this) to find it live booting into what appeared to be a much older version of Linux Mint than I expected. Code: cat /etc/linuxmint/info RELEASE=12 CODENAME=list EDITION="Gnome 64-bit" DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 12 List" Cut it off there. That version was released on the 26th of November 2011. First thing that appeared besides the desktop itself, "Wireless Networks Available" Now to hit submit reply, shut down, reboot to windows and wipe this USB I'll set it up with something else later
Re: General discussion chat I pulled the wheels off my brothers WRX and stuck them on my car for shits n gigs, I'm really surprised they fit, but damn my car sits so high now. (imported from here)
Re: General discussion chat Nope, T190 Toyota Corona Anyways, the wheels look good, even at it's current ride height, but of course if you drop it like it's hot that's even better
Re: General discussion chat Nope, 1994 Toyota Carina S-Limited EDIT: No room man Any lower and it would smash into everything lol
Re: General discussion chat Yes, the Carina and Corona both used the same chassis. I remember you mentioning a while ago what it was, but I forgot, so I guessed Corona, which was wrong Also, is it a Japanese imported, from what I've heard you guys get lots of cars imported from Japan, and I think the Carina was a Japan only model.
Re: General discussion chat Ah yeah, though they look quite different. And yeah, 99% of the cars here in New Zealand are Japanese. I'm pretty sure my car had one owner in Japan before it was shipped here, IIRC, then my granddad bought it, which eventually got to me. Only 115k km/s on the clock right now, which is shit all for the age. Got it for $850 USD
Re: General discussion chat found an 89 bronco(The best suv ever made imo) in pretty much perfect condition on craigslist, and it's within my first car budget
Re: General discussion chat Isn't that when they had the really bad rollover problems? What engine does it have?
Re: General discussion chat the 5.0 ELF Motor and as for rolling over, that's the Bronco II not the original bronco
