I mean, the design isn't that bad as most people say - in fact, it looks way ahead of its time for an early 2010s crossover SUV.

 

that's exactly what i'm saying. if anything it's offensive but it's not "ugly"

Is your neighbor's deformed hairless chihuahua ugly? Yes. Is it also offensive? Yes, because it is ugly. This statement by the very nature of offensive, is invalid.

 

tiny detail i've noticed: the '96 pessima has tiny, rusty paint chips on the front bumper. that's such a minute detail but it must have taken so much effort to get it right

 

Not rusty, because the bumper is plastic, but that is pretty cool.

 

Just found out about the Code 130R concept from 2012, it reminds me a lot of the Sunburst! I wonder if it was their inspiration outside of the WRX
