I think they'll give us refunds (which if that ever happens, I'll prob get like 100-300 robux back?). But wouldn't be surprised if they gave me the middle finger and there was no refunds.

ROBLOX announced that they are going to require age checks to make posts on group forums and the Developer Forum on 3/18/2026. I thought this day would never come... what's next? age checks to register an account? age checks to play a game? age checks to buy items from the catalog? I doubt ROBLOX will make it to the 2030s. this is sad. it's not safety, it's segregation and censorship
I'm pretty sure this update was made because the Roblox staff is pissed at each of their DevForum posts related to Roblox updates getting ratioed (especially the bad update posts). And interestingly, March 18th marks 9 years since the John Doe hacking rumors.
that's what i've been wondering too, i've spent years and years collecting cool faces that i think are worth a lot of money, only for them to be replaced with inferior moving ones? no way, i want my money back!
Basically, there was a rumor that started on early 2017 that John Doe would hack Roblox on March 18th, 2017. The hacking rumors were false though.
John Doe was an account Roblox used in alpha testing. A bunch of weird oddities (most of which were due to glitches with the client or website) led to clickbait channels claiming the account was a hacker.
I got one more thing to say as well! I'm going to start building a gaming PC! These are the parts I'm planning to get: (I still haven't planned which monitor, mouse, and keyboard to get yet) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix X870-A RAM: Fanxiang Sodimm DDR5 Power Supply: ASRock SL-1000GW Liquid Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer lll Pro 360 Black PC Tower: Zalman S3 TG ATX SSD: Samsung 990 EVO PLUS GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti These are obviously not the best performance parts for a PC, but I think they can handle games such as BeamNG just fine. Let me know if I should get something else other than the ones listed.
