Re: General discussion chat There's only one server I really like. It's a small one with not that many players but there's two issues with it. One, it's been offline for a long time. Two, the person hosting it is in the UK and has crap internet. I've offered to host it for him but he hasn't responded and I haven't seen any sign of him in about 2 months..

Re: General discussion chat this is what I did from 11pm today: Downloaded SDL and then tested with by writing this little application written in C and compiled under MinGW. Very straightforward, source here: http://pastebin.com/XcT4nfYX Simply creates an 800*600 hardware drawn window (not that I draw to it) and then logs recognition of keyup/down events in the console window. Also turns out the program I stuck in the updater test thread also works absolutely fine under MinGW on windows as opposed to stock GCC on raspbian as I originally tested. Although I would be more surprised if it didn't work, still, now I know I have a FOSS C toolchain working. http://pastebin.com/4PwkQ2HX
