Re: General discussion chat Driving in 4 is so much more fun than 5. Yesterday I was playing 4, and I was entertained for a good hour just throwing a limousine around the streets of bohan. So floaty and bouncy. 5 is like driving go karts around though.

Re: General discussion chat God I love my MacBook so much. It's the only system in my possession that does virtualization correctly. Everything else is too old or kicks and screams, like my main rig, which won't even start VirtualBox. There's only a couple problems though... It sounds like it's trying to take off because I have to have the fan speeds at above factory levels, else it burns me, and it's fantastically slow while virtualizing. It allocates ALL THE CPU! to virtualizing and leaves nothing for web browsing. It keeps beach balling while I'm typing this. Help! So old! Core 2 Duo having trouble! 2009 technology. Vintage (not really).
Re: General discussion chat Oh please, it's almost new. I've used older WinXP laptops with pentium CPUs and they did virtualisation properly, so does my rig and even my mum's crappy dell all in one (1.8 ghz athlon dual core). And allocating only half the CPU. Something is really wrong with your rig if it can't do virtualisation.
Re: General discussion chat It's AMD based. I didn't really build it for virtualization. It should still do it though. It needs a fresh windows install anyways, I'll try that.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah, KitKat is very nice and speedy. Also gives a decent boost to battery life as well. Also, anybody know when Android L is coming out? I'll totally download it same day.
Re: General discussion chat Again, I could run Windows 8 on VMware very well on a single core of my mum's 1.8 ghz athlon. My 6100 could even run some games on VMs running on half the CPU. Maybe it's just VirtualBox that sucks, try VMware.
Re: General discussion chat comes out for what? samsung hasn't announced anything if your asking about the galaxy series (i'm hoping they at least give the GS3 Android L though, would really like to see what samsung does with it) if you meant come out for anything, then google is already rolling out the android l OTA updates for nexus devices
Re: General discussion chat AMD CPUs aren't built for virtualization. While they can do it, as your 6100 did, it's a bit hit or miss. It works just fine on my Mac, and so it shall stay.

Re: General discussion chat yes because your pc dictates everyones experience :/ it doesn't FYI, your the only person with an amd cpu i've seen not get virtualization working, so your clearly doing something wrong (heck, even my siblings laptop can run virtual OS's, and it has an amd e-300)
