Re: General discussion chat If that makes you want to post stuff like that I doubt the internet is good for you. Take some time off. Relive stress.
Re: General discussion chat I would absolutely love to, Bubble. There's nothing more I'd love in the world. But there are several things stopping me. I have no job, no money, no girlfriend, I'm waiting for the sound system for my car, I have no hobbies other than computing and hardware tinkering/software design. I don't have a great relationship with my parents, I don't trust any of my friends. I'm made fun of and bullied at school and it's turned me into who I am now. I'm sorry about my actions, but I'm also feel sorry for everyone who doesn't seem to understand that I'm damaged and have decided to not take the littlest lick of crap from anyone. - - - Updated - - - I dunno, I giggled at the Taken part. There's no way in hell I was serious.
Re: General discussion chat Sorry, but why the hell would you keep running something that was (as you said a few pages back) making crazy buzzing noises and having fan issues? At least look in side it to make sure the fans weren't filled with dust or something. Really the fact that it lasted as long is miraculous.
Re: General discussion chat I opened it up several times and moved around connecters and fans. There's no dust anywhere, I try to keep my stuff clean. It moved air just fine and actually stayed nice and cool. I kept it off a lot these passed couple weeks and most of my recent forum posts were made on the HP Pavilion I'm currently using. I would only turn it on and run it to play a game, then shut it back down. I was trying to keep it running until christmas because that's when it would be most likely I could get some parts to make it right again. I'll revive it, I have the know-how, but how long it'll run after that is beyond me.
Re: General discussion chat Well at least work out why it broke in the first place, don't just put in a GPU or something and hope it works. RAM doesn't have a habit of just exploding
Re: General discussion chat inb4 put PCI-E 6pin in the CPU power connector and the CPU power connector in the PCI-E connector
Re: General discussion chat Now, now. I'm not that stupid. CPU power is 8 pin (two 4 pin) and my PCI-E power is 6. Even then, I still wouldnt have messed that up. @VeyronEB Going to perform an autopsy when I get back from the Apple Store with a Mini DVi to DVi converter for my macBook so I can run it on my monitor. Unfortunatley, I don't have a test bench for my DDR3 and PCI-E stuff. Hmm... I do have a spare mobo though...
Re: General discussion chat Same thing here. The executable just disappeared, and I had no idea why since I disabled avast notifications. I'll have to add an exception for the whole steam partition and verify the game.
Re: General discussion chat Garry's mod is a buggy, glitchy, processor hogging, computer crashing, incredibly laggy, unstable piece of shit... And i love it.
Re: General discussion chat Been talking to some people. I think I'm gonna take a vacation from Beam for awhile. Maybe this place is the root of my stress issues and my anxiatey. I guess we'll see. See you all in a little while.
Re: General discussion chat Good luck to you, hopefully you can find some inner peace, or some crap along those lines
Re: General discussion chat How come in those pics you posted of you driving, why dafuq are you in the backseat of the Ranger?
Re: General discussion chat Taking way to long to reply to this post... I wasn't driving I was in the navara.
