Re: General discussion chat Maybe it's my CPU cooler that's buzzing? I don't know, I'm about to take a tank shell to this damn thing.
Re: General discussion chat Setting my SSD as the boot drive is a little more complicated that I expected. I think I'm getting close though. - - - Updated - - - That sounds kind of rough. Get well soon.
Re: General discussion chat My goal for the next month : Create a whole LUA-based system for Unity, wherein you can create games without even using the Unity Editor . First game test I'm going to do with it is going to be breakout
Re: General discussion chat If they pointed out that there's equal violence in the game between genders they won't sound as offended. Just fake feminists attacking anything that might slightly offend an uninformed person.
Re: General discussion chat Which is why I used the term fake feminists. The kind you find on Tumblr.
Re: General discussion chat So you're basically going to make a game editor within a game editor? Sent from my BLU ADVANCE 4.0 using Tapatalk
Re: General discussion chat http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2013-0230 i have no idea what this means anyone care to explain it? as apparently my modem/router is vulnerable to whatever it is
Re: General discussion chat Lua isn't stylised as LUA btw. Its Lua. First letter capitalised as a noun. Not an acronym.
Re: General discussion chat If a very large http request is made to the router then the processor stack will slowly fill up until it overflows into system ram. A carefully crafted http request could then cause the overflow to be valid executable code for the router allowing any hacker to run any code he wants on it. However, nobody will bother, I wouldn't panic. As for Lua and LUA. This is in the Lua about page. What's in a name? "Lua" (pronounced LOO-ah) means "Moon" in Portuguese. As such, it is neither an acronym nor an abbreviation, but a noun. More specifically, "Lua" is a name, the name of the Earth's moon and the name of the language. Like most names, it should be written in lower case with an initial capital, that is, "Lua". Please do not write it as "LUA", which is both ugly and confusing, because then it becomes an acronym with different meanings for different people. So, please, write "Lua" right!
Re: General discussion chat I live under a rock. Over a year after it happened I JUST now find out that Fisker went bankrupt. I guess you could call it... Karma? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Anyone? No? Ok...
Re: General discussion chat I had to factory reset my computer again. I would advise against using third party boot editing programs. Sent from my BLU ADVANCE 4.0 using Tapatalk
Re: General discussion chat Yep I know I make that mistake a lot. I know to put Lua as LUA (I'm only kidding about that last part)
