Re: General discussion chat Although i totally get the joke that is nothing like England at all. In England it barely rains heavily, but its generally remains fairly cold and damp. Maybe its just my area of the country but i have to wait at a bus stop every morning and if its raining you most likely don't need something waterproof to deal with it. But i always look like the Michelin man cause i get cold very easily.
Re: General discussion chat i'd imagine it's some form of auto-correct, which as we all know generally corrects words incorrectly - - - Updated - - - wow, i found an easter egg in chrome, the "Your not connected to the internet" error page has a game on it, just press space after clicking on the t-rex
Re: General discussion chat Yes. Using power does that. Seriously, did you not think that with all that heat going out your computer that it might be using electricity a bit quicker than if you weren't playing it?
Re: General discussion chat I just now had to plug it in. I ran it for 30 minutes on 0% battery. My laptop is a god.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah baby!! I got my SSD installed! It took some time and I had some serious trial and error, but I got it working now. In fact, I posted this with my HDD sitting on a counter. I started to figure that it wouldn't be worth the effort, but that thought changed immediately when I witnessed how fast my computer booted. Massive improvement!
Re: General discussion chat Yes. I went from a crappy 1.5tb 100mb/s RAID array to a 256GB Kingston and a single 500GB HDD. I still haven't gotten bored with how fast it boots up.
Re: General discussion chat I've been considering getting an SSD. I think I'll just wait until I build my next computer with a fresh install of Windows.
Re: General discussion chat No. Do it now. Totally worth it. I did a fresh install of windows (After backing up all my Steam games so I don't have to re download them all and lose my saves.) and it's just so much faster.
Re: General discussion chat Yeah, I know I should. I'm just lazy. Plus I kind of want to wait til I can get a 512GB or 1TB SSD for really cheap. Like under $100.
Re: General discussion chat That'll be awhile. Seriously, there was a Corsair 128GB (Maybe 256? I forget.) for $25. It sold out before I could get one.
