Re: General discussion chat The 4440 is a nice CPU, it's perfectly fine for any game with exception of a T-75 in BNG. A 760 should allow highest graphics too. - - - Updated - - - I want to install more Skyrim graphics mods but my 270 can't go much further. Oh well, OC time!

Re: General discussion chat Well I think I was wrong about something pertaining to my CPU and ThrottleStop. I checked just now and seems like my CPU runs at ~3.4GHz with 100% utilization using all four cores without Thottlestop turned on. I wasn't using my GPU either so power may be an issue. 120W can only do but so much. I think that's why my CPU runs at ~2.7GHz while my GPU is maxed out.

Re: General discussion chat As a clarinetist, I can't wear full gloves (have to cut the fingertips off) during the normal MB season and my hands freeze. A couple friends who have done cymbals in the past says it feels really similar to that. However, I should probably keep in mind that cymbals are 100% metal. If someone finds that I take a while to type something, I lost my fingers. Just a warning.

Re: General discussion chat So, what will be faster. Crunchbang running on a 1.4ghz Celeron M with 2gb of DDR2 RAM at 400MHz or Crunchbang running under virtualbox on windows 8 on a 1.8ghz ivy bridge i3 with 6gb of DDR3 RAM (VM allocated 512mb) of which I dont know the frequency.
