So, I sent back my Monoprice 8323's for an RMA, because the pads were absolutely destroyed, and I got the RMA a week ago. They just started selling replacement earpads just 3 days ago. How come my luck is so good? (Maybe next time I will get the red pads.)

They are already spending more on the motherboard than they are on the CPU, there is no point in going for a fairly nice Asus one when the money can be better spent elsewhere.

RIP in peace microwave. 20 years old. Too young.

It died microwaving corn. Dunno what part went bad but after replacing the fuse it just immediately blew it again.

I found a shitty old bike in the garage behind some matresses, so I pumped the tires full of air and rode around a bit. Gears were broken, so it was locked in 3rd, and the suspension felt like a jackhammer slamming (hehe) on my taint.
I did some drifting while it was wet. I also managed to crash into the garage door and launch myself off the bike and a few feet forward.

    it was ok

I spent 300 some dollars on a 36 volt 1000 watt motor, batteries, a controller, and various other parts to make my own Razor Pocket Mod sleeper.
The parts should come on Christmas.
Pocket-Bikes-Bistro-Main.jpg I'm talking about this thing.
It should go about 30mph, and it normally goes 10 with a 250 watt 24 volt motor.

AIDA64 stress testing the Dell. Stressing everything but the HD. Should 21 days be enough to cure the new thermal paste? Hehe :p

I have a little group of friends. This group, including me, is 4 people. Since last night, I now posses the 3rd most powerful computer, which is a loss of position from 2nd.
This WILL NOT stand. Microcenter has a 4790K and a Z97 Extreme 4 bundle right now for $349.
That will put me at number one.

Yes, this is a dick measuring contest.

Aw. I really want a i7 for rendering and that wonderful 4.4Ghz boost but I don't have any money. :(
    Who's #1 right now?

Gas powered anythings that aren't registered are illegal in my area. Plus, you could hear an engine! This is quiet and more sleepy!
They also piss off neighbors in my neighborhood... People have gotten the cops called on them for driving gas powered go karts and things around.

Well, I'm in 2nd then. With some overclocking I might be right behind 1st. :p

You are going to have to do quite a bit of overclocking in order to beat that setup. Don't underestimate the power of SLI GPU's.

I guess i would be first if i were on that list?

Yeah, dual 660ti's comes out to about 40% faster than my setup. You only have a 2500k though. The 3770k might put up a fight in a benchmark.

The 4790k is only like 5 or 7 percent faster than a 3770k.
It's the principle of the thing, damnit!

It depends on if they are running overclocked or if they are running stock clocks with Intel cooler, im not entirely sure though, they will probably beat me either way on the CPU side. But i think my GPU's probably make up for that. In the heaven benchmark my GTX970 should beat out two 660ti's. For blender cycles rendering the 970 +560ti combo should destroy it. In games that have no SLI support i will have a fairly large advantage. I guess if a game has PhysX i have a slight advantage too :p
