Re: General discussion chat I've learned from other car forums that a lot of people are scared of WOT, and avoid it whenever possible. I don't understand that. Unless your car isn't really ragged, putting her to the floor isn't gonna hurt a thing. I think it's good to pin 'er open every once and a while. Stretch its legs. Work it out a little.

Granted, i would do it at the right place and at the right time, unlike all the redneck assholes around here who go 55 in their lifted rusty trucks in a 25 mph zone, burning rubber at 2 AM without any kind of muffler whatsoever, just a "wicked faht pipe dudebub".
Re: General discussion chat I literally floor my car everywhere. Mainly because I have to in order for it to sort of... Move. It's funny, actually. I can race someone and it doesn't even look like we're racing. I lose a lot.

Re: General discussion chat So basically I am going to be sitting in this class for the next 3 hours with nothing to do. Finals started today and the class I'm in is 3 hours long right now. That's 3 hours of doing absolutely nothing. I wish I could just skip it, take my next exam, and go home.

Re: General discussion chat And my guess is that he drives pretty economically lol. Of course if you do it all the time you'll greatly increase the wear on your engine and drivetrain. I'm gonna have to refrain from going balls out every time pull out into traffic, or get on the interstate. Entrance ramps. ohhhhhh entrance ramps. Uphill entrance ramps to interstates. Maybe the best place to do 0-70 WOT runs. I kinda want the transmission in the crown vic to last, at least to 200k. That isn't feasible if I drive like an idiot. :c but dat exhaust note doe gat damn That guy drives way too fast. I like it.

Re: General discussion chat I WOT everywhere, except in towns and by police. In other news, I've been pronouncing my car's name all wrong. Apparently, it's "Cuh-rol-uh" instead of "Cuh-roll-a". I also looked into it. A Carolla is the term for the collective petals on a flower. So I drive the "Petals of Doom". That's even more frightening.
