I am writing this while fuming, but I am fucking sick of Apple security questions, or just security questions in general.

I was just trying to buy a simple app, and of course the security questions decide to pop up this time. I am certain that I know my answers, but lo and behold, they are incorrect. I go to change them, but what? I have to enter them to change them? I have to enter what I forgot to get a reset email? Apparently so.

So now my account is locked out because of these fucking questions that I can't answer and I can't change to two step verification without knowing them. This is bullshit.

its apple, preprogrammed for future obsolescence enforced by preventing updates from being installed to hardware fully capable of running it and self desctructing accounts :p

Oh, last night, arrived at work to find a woman called Gina drunk at a table, absolutely off her head drunk. This would be normal considering I work in a pub, but no. This woman is an employee who phoned in sick for the day apparently bed ridden. Right, so you phone in sick and the logical thing that pops into your mind for the afternoon is to travel to your workplace and proceed to get so drunk anyone would think its a friday night and you're playing drinking games. I knew she was pretty dim but not that god damn stupid.

don't forget making internals ridiculously hard to replace yourself instead of paying apples ridiculous prices for getting stuff fixed.

While I'd like to sort of disagree with that, I don't need to start a war on this thread.

I do think Apple products are really high-quality and good looking, (Except for some of the desktops) but they're just so expensive compared to PCs and I hate OSX and iOS. For example, I had an iPod Touch 4g that I got for Christmas in like 2011. I jailbroke it and it ran awesomely on iOS 4.2.1. (I remember that sometimes I would get 190MB free out of 256MB) But then updates happened and it slowed right down. And you pretty much have to update because lots of apps lose support for older iOS versions. Eventually I didn't really use it anymore and I sold it before the iPod 5g came out. (Because I assumed that it would lose a lot of its value after the 5g was released.)

When I was 9 I also had a Powerbook G3 that I got for free. It was decent, but it cooked itself to death. (I actually ran Linux on it for awhile.) My current laptop has been going for 6 years. (I've had it for maybe 2 years?) It still works just fine even with the Nvidia GPU running nearly double stock speed. Before I did anything to the cooling the CPU suffered high temperatures. One time I forced it to max speed to get around the stupid Dell throttling system and it hit 260F.. Still working just fine. (Honestly though, I want a new laptop but getting a new motherboard/CPU is higher up on my list of stuff to buy.)

*cough* new macbooks *cough* seriously though, even the older macbooks aren't the easiest thing to fix stuff in, i cut my finger just trying to get the freaking uppercase off. i was actually replacing the lcd screen on an older late 2007 2.2 Santa Rosa macbook, and you have to unplug and take out stuff that have absolutley nothing to do with the display just to get it off (the optical drive for example, and the hdd, and the bluetooth adapter, it's ridiculous). don't even get me started on the new macbooks, you can't even replace the battery yourself anymore

At this elementary school that I live near there are a bunch of computers in the hallway with papers taped to them that said "for discard". There were maybe 4 older mac laptops and a few mac desktops. I want one of those laptops. It's summer though and that was like 3 weeks ago so I bet they're gone. :|

I wonder if they still worked? A lot of school districts will sell things like desks, chairs, computers, projectors and stuff like that. Its a good way to make money from stuff they would normally throw out.

    Probably...or maybe not. idk.
But it kinda made me feel old because one of the desktops I recognized, and I remembered when it was brand new. It was all shiny and fancy.
At the end of this school year we emptied a lot of old technology from the band rooms. It was strangely satisfying heaving a whole photocopier into a dumpster.

Gabester just made me want to watch the movie "Battleship". How do you ask?

I was looking at the "Vehicles in development" list and the first vehicle I saw was the "Bruckell Albatross" and the word "Albatross" made me think of the navy, then I looked down and saw "Ibishu Hopper" the main character in Battleship is named is "Hopper".

Well now I have to watch Battleship, cya. :p

    I want that.
    I want to smash that.

Also the 'SBR4' looks like a stretched hatchback. Really odd shape for a coupe, I hope Gabe changes the roofline when he gets it in game.

i want the roamer, and 2014 roamer, those sound awesome

(plus, i believe the roamer is going to be based off of the ford explorer, and i actually plan on getting a 96 or so explorer as my first vehicle, so technically that'll mean i can mess around with my RL vehicle in-game (technically because it's not ACTUALLY the explorer, just based off of it, but knowing gabester i'd imagine it would be similar enough (at least for me)))

I quite like how the SBR4 looks like. Reminds me of a Hyundai Veloster.

Those of you who know me well enough know I like making weird stuff. Latest addition to my collection. Going to cut the front part of the osb so your legs don't hit it. And yes it holds my fat ass perfectly.
