Re: General discussion chat 65C°? Pff, you haven't seen it all yet. Anyway, I just finished watching the first three Alien movies. Will go for the fourth tomorrow. Also, defragging my 1TB HDD (3 Partions). Never did that. Looks like it going to take a whole night to do that.. (15% Frag on C - 100GB and 20% Frag on D - 850GB) Hopefully it will speed up things a bit, I've noticed PC hanging more than usual lately when loading things.. SMART says HDD status is good..Hope so.. Also2, found out how to share HDD on with PC on my home network. Disappointed by the transfer speeds (1MB/s at Max..). I read that speeds in LAN are not the same as Internet, but I didn't expect it to be much much lower :| I rather use my USB Drive to transfer files at this point.
Re: General discussion chat Is 65°C normal for you? Considering ambient temp is ~19°C (canada) I really need an upgrade to my cooler, still using stock. Any suggestions? No room for watercooling, and 212 evo is too tall for case
Re: General discussion chat I hit 85°C in summer (ambient temp around 28-30°C). IIRC CPU should work till 90°C. PC should shutdown if temps keep going higher. Also, CPU will probably start to throttle to prevent temps to go higher (it will reduce the clock speed so it cools down, reducing work load but also performance until it goes back on the "safe" zone) I use the Hyper TX Evo3. I have been using it for 4 years now, through 3 CPUs and I'm quite surprised it has a wide compatibily. Fits in the case without much hassle. With it, at Max I hit 70°C in summer. 50°C in Winter (ambient temp around 10-15°C)

That's actually dangerous for your components as condensation can form on them from humidity (even if there isn't any outside, humans emit water vapour) -PS I've been a subscriber to your channel for 3 years
Re: General discussion chat somethings wrong here local network speeds should and in general always are FASTER (like, way faster) then internet speeds for example, i have a 7MB/s dow internet speeds my LAN speeds are usually around 100MB/s if you're only getting 1MB/s there's something bottlenecking your network heck, if using cat5e(i think it's cat5e anyway) cables, you should even be able to get 1 gigabit speeds within your local network
