Re: General discussion chat I'm not really a fan of that. I'l try to avoid texting and driving, but the fact that it doesn't let you use your phone while it's in the mount thing just turns me away. Also how it tells you not to speed. That'd get pretty irritating, I see myself going over the speed limit a lot.
Re: General discussion chat "I don't like rules. I want to break the rules. I don't like being told to follow the rules."
Re: General discussion chat Rules were made to be broken. I don't like to be told what to do, especially by technology. Partially the reason I don't like new cars. If I want to open the hatch while the car is on, in drive, and moving, I should be able to. Damn lexus.
Re: General discussion chat Deaths down 25% Lowest death toll since 1936. How can you not think that is an amazing thing?
Re: General discussion chat Well, we just had a tornado here last night around 11pm. Power just came back at 8:30-ish. It didn't hit the town or my house, but it went from a town 15-ish miles away to north of town. No injuries reported yet, though there's not a lot of information about damage yet.
Re: General discussion chat people generally make rules because they wanted them followed, if people made rules because they wanted them broken, they just wouldn't make rules. (also, how you plan on getting your licence when you like to go over the limit and i imagine break other rules of the road(obviously you can WITHIN reason (for example, 5 mph faster, as it's not really possible to keep the vehicle EXACTLY at the limit)), i have no idea OT: went on a 2 hour drive on saturday, lot's of highway was fun though, plus there's 2 more hours out of my total 50 hours required (i have no idea how many hours i have atm)
Re: General discussion chat I just totally faked my hourly log for my permit exam...it said I needed 24 hours of "parental monitored" driving time before I was eligible for my license. They gave me a little pamphlet and wanted me to "log" my hours driving. I just made it all up and made my mom sign it, 8 years later, Im an awesome driver, except when I was 18-21, I earned plenty of driving infractions. now im good (well, im waiting for a speeder to come in the mail. makes my heart sink every time I think about it. got nailed for doing 81 in a 55. gimme a break!!)
Re: General discussion chat Dude, that is really bad. Don't do that high of a speed, you could easily do a lot of damage.
Re: General discussion chat yeah, tell everyone ELSE that on Long Island. People were passing me, but he nabbed me since I had my HID's on and system blasting. so I cant hear anything around me. 81 is like, average on LI. Its seriously like, step on it, or im gonna ram you into the shoulder. pick one lol
Re: General discussion chat I once did 125 mph on a 75 mph limited highway, but just once, I was testing the car 75 mph is the standard speed limit in Spain for highways, I believe it's lower in the US.
Re: General discussion chat National speed limit on a UK dual carriageway is 70mph. I cruise them at 90. Have hit 105 at which point the engine is screaming as it bounces off the rev limiter, that is literally giving it everything the car has. - - - Updated - - - Anyone doing less than the speed limit is a dick in my books, except if you cant hit the speed limit that is
Re: General discussion chat Is 155 in a 55 bad? Lol pegged out a g37 Sent through the stars by my Galaxy with a Note for you!
