    Already right there with you, almost. I have an Intel Z3735F (Due to 2gb of ram and 10.6GB/s on the ram, the g has 1gb ram and 5.3GB/s)

    Slower than an 8 bit 20mhz (at best, often run at 16, 12, 8, 4 or even 1) processor, I think not.

    single vs dual channel ram is basically the difference there. The G has 1 channel connected to a 1gb DRAM chip, the F has 2 channels connected to 2 separate 1gb DRAM chips. Both support upto 4gb of RAM combined though (whether that be 1x4 on the F and G or 2x2 on the F, the F wont accept 2x4).



    HP apparently have an atom tablet on the way that uses an actual removable DDR3L SODIMM module and an mSATA SSD (atom does actually support full SATA connections rather than the cheapy eMMC most are using). Also replaceable battery. No doubt considerably thicker, not aimed for consumers either really.
