There should be a Corvette shooting brake.

So, just get a SATA cable. Any PSU from 2005 or newer should have SATA power connectors.

never had a single problem ever

in fact if anything windows 8 is the broken one, had all sorts of driver issues and stuff like that (i didn't get these problems either myself, but they were pretty common apparently)

Yeah, Windows 8 is broken, Windows 8.1 is more broken. Never had blue screens, but I did have explorer freezing and the side bar thing not working as it should.

    It's a laptop and it's from before 05. I think.
I hate having to order stuff of the internet. Takes so damn long to get here and shit.
I wish I could just drive out and buy shit.
I hate having to wait so long before I get stuff.

which is kind of ironic, since one of the things you're waiting for is a title for a car

I had no problems until it suddenly started going shit and I went fuck it, I want my start menu back, let's go Win7.

It's 3 am and I'm sitting in front of my pc posting in this thread and listening to deep purple. Because who needs sleep anyway.

If it's a laptop you can't fit a SATA drive in there. You're gonna need a PATA drive.

Yep lol. I hate mailing stuff.
Well, this one doesn't have SATA connectors, so obviously I need a PATA. I'll just return this one on Amazon. Don't want to bother with ebay and stuff.

Why are you using a laptop from 2005 anyway? It probably has a NetBurst mobile CPU which is just... Terrible.

It's an old Inspiron 1720. My dad used it until about 6 months ago until the hard drive failed. I got it for free and I'm trying to get it back in working order.
I just want a simple laptop to browse the web on. And OBD diagnostics, and this one can do that stuff just fine.
It's got an Intel Core2 duo. Not sure it that's the netwhatitsname thing that you mentioned.

Doing some testing with Blender. My first time doing an unwrap with marked seams, first time doing an edge split with marked sharp edges, first render, first materials test. :)

Lego ideas is awesome. They've got dr who, the helicarriers from avenger (at over 6.5ft long!) ghostbusters, less-known Star Wars, star citizen, minecraft, terraria, indie games, Jurassic park, curling, caterhams, corvettes, the disk world from buddism (I think. Sorry if I'm wrong) Daft Punk, the Flying Dutchman, the Hubble space telescope, the meueum from night at the meueum (I hope robin Williams gets a minifigure) a piano, realistic (kinda) birds, ghostbusters, minecraft, back to the future, the curiosity rover, deep sea subs, and thousands of other ones.
    It's really cool.

(did you like that super-long sentence?)

The forza car view thingy (I forget the name) has Jeremy Clarkson for the voices of the vehicle description as well as for the opening sequence of fm5 (not sure about 4)

Core 2 duo isn't netburst, it wasn't introduced until 2006 though so totally pre 2005 laptop there :p

But yeah, you need a pata drive. So do i.

    You have 2cm x 2cm mousepad/table or something? From a low-sense-point-of-view this seems ridiculous ;)
